Fusion

Level select:
Press [Esc] during game play. Then hold E and start a new game to enable cheat mode. Alternatively, enter SWAMP THING at the high score screen. Press [Plus] to advance to the next level or [Minus] to return to the previous level. Press [Space] to resume game play.

Game editor:
Note: Back-up the game disk before following this procedure. Enable the "Level select" code. Press Up/Left + Fire + E to enter the editor. Another way to enter the editor is to diskcopy the game disk. Place the original disk in drive A and the copy in drive B. Rename the QAZ.MON file on drive B to FUSION.TOS. Double click on the FUSION.TOS file to start the editor. All level changes will be saved to drive B by pressing Up/Left + Fire + S.

While in the editor, use the function and number keys to select various tiles. Press the cursor keys to change the tile positions. Press [Tab] to place the tiles. Press [Undo] to remove the last tile placed. Press A and use the cursor keys to edit the tile's height, then press [Enter] to set it to the current position. Press P to cycle through the color palette using [Keypad 1] and [Keypad 4]; [Keypad 2] and [Keypad 5]; or [Keypad 3] and [Keypad 6] and press [Enter] when completed. Press [Keypad Plus] or [Keypad Minus] to change the parallax level colors and press [Enter] when completed. Press X to edit the exit data using [Plus] or [Minus] to select the exit, S to set the position; then use [Plus] or [Minus] to select the destination exit and use the cursor keys to set the entrance. Press W to change the weapon data, [Plus] or [Minus] to select various weapons, S to select a weapon, then [Plus] or [Minus] again to set the part number (1 through 9 are bomb parts, 10 are fat bullets, 11 are triple shots, 12 are shields, and 13 is extra fuel). Use the keypad to edit the level, with the keypad numbers equal to joystick directions, [Keypad 0] to paste, [Keypad Period] to cut, and [Keypad Plus] or [Keypad Minus] to select a tile. Use the cursor keys to display the six switches at the top of the screen. Press 0 through 5 to test the corresponding switch, [Undo] to change the switch, or S to set a switch. To create a new level, enter level select mode and press [Plus] to move past the highest defined level. Note: When creating additional levels, ensure that the last line of blocks at the top and bottom of the screen are raised blocks, or the game will crash when passing through that boundary.
