Cheat mode

Note: This procedure involves editing a game file; create a backup copy of the file before proceeding. Use a text editor to edit the "config.cfg" file in the "\18 WoS American Long Haul\" directory. Changes these lines:

uset g_console "0"
uset g_developer "0"
uset g_police "0"

to:

uset g_console "1"
uset g_developer "1"
uset g_police "1"

This will (in order), enable ~ to display the console window; enable developer mode; and disable the police. Note: In some versions of the game you must press [Tab] to enable the console window.

To activate the remaining cheat codes, press ~ or [Tab] during game play to display the console window. Then, enter one of the following codes to activate the corresponding cheat function.

Change the "false" value to "true" for all garage locations.

Contracts with all companies

Use the following trick to make new contracts without dealing with the companies. Note: This procedure involves editing a game file; create a backup copy of the file before proceeding. Use a text editor to edit the "game.sii" file in the newest directory used to hold the saved game files. Search for the companies details section. Locate the following line:

rating:0

and change it to:

rating:&3ecaf3dc

Do this for all the companies. You will now have four contracts with all companies.

No fatigue

Use the following trick to avoid getting tired during a misison. Note: This procedure involves editing a game file; create a backup copy of the file before proceeding. Use a text editor to edit the "game.sii" file in the newest directory used to hold the saved game files. Change the value of the fatigue line from 1 to 0.

$1 million

Note: The saved game files should have a number as the file name. Locate the money_account: line, and replace the numbers that follow it with 1,000,000.

Set number of drivers

Eliminate loan

Look for the line under bank_account labeled loan and change its value to 0 to eliminate your loan.

Extreme weather

bad_weather_intensity: 0
stored_rain_intensity: 0
stored_snow_intensity: 0

...and change them to:

stored_snow_intensity: 1

Always have police chases

Look for the police_chase: false and change it to police_chase: true to make the game more challenging.
