Do not kill anyone until you are assigned the mission or favor that instructs you to do so. For example, on the bodyguard mission, if you kill him before talking to the person you will not be able to complete the favor because you never accepted it.
If you use the bomb on the transit trader, you will not be able to trade there anymore. Do the baby doll favor first. Note: If you blow up the transit trader, you can still get his items. Click on them and you will steal them.
