Cheat Codes

Cheat mode

Select "Options + Speedruns" at the main menu. Then, select the "Cheats + Mods" option. Enter one of the following passwords to activate the corresponding cheat function.

Planet D Speedrun

Successfully complete the game under the Insane difficulty setting. Note: Cheats can be enabled during your completion.

Gold desktops

Get all "Gold" trophies.

Crowns

Complete the indicated task to unlock the corresponding crown.

Bronze: Complete all Speed Runs (including Planet D if it has been unlocked) under the Medium difficulty .

Gold: Complete all Speed Runs (including Planet D if it has been unlocked under the Insane! difficulty.

Silver: Complete all Speed Runs (including Planet D if it has been unlocked) under the Hard difficulty.

Hints

Extra eggs

Under the Medium difficulty setting with the "Low Gravity" cheat enabled, go to the Salty Flats speedrun. You will reach a bare tree in front of a small ditch that has an egg in it. Collect the egg, then jump into air above the tree. The tree should disappear. When it reappears, the egg will have returned. Collect the egg repeatedly for extra points.

Extra lives

To get an extra life (time shift), collect 30, 75, and 150 eggs.

Egg locations

The eggs can be found at the following locations.

T-Rex: Level 3, in the right face of the hill with all the tunnels through it.

Giga: Level 2, on a vine at the bottom of the big cliff under the Easy difficulty.

Magno: Level 6, inside the top-right of the first volcano.

Iguano: Level 4, inside the hill with the tunnels, above the waterfall.

Alien: Level 5, halfway through the level inside the big meteorite on the ground.

Spino: Level 2, at the bottom of the first big cliff all the way on the left.

Oloro: Level 4, at the end of the underground part, on top of some platforms.

Rinch: Level 3 Underground on a platform, as well as in the Planet D Speedrun.

Diplo: Apocalypse, inside the top left of the last volcano or first volcano under the Insane difficulty.

Bronto: Beyond Apocalypse, at the Dino Sanctuary, the big egg on the middle platform under the Insane difficulty.

Shortcuts

Note: This works best in the Apocalypse level. Enable cheat mode. Enable the astrosaur and leapinliz codes. Get to the top of a mountain or volcano. Jump just before it inclines down. The low gravity will slow your fall slightly, but you will skip running down the mountain and possibly getting killed.

Eating creatures faster

Press [Down] when directly behind them. Note: Do not press [Down] all the time as it slows you down.

Rainin Lizards Sanctuary: Easy food

Chase the prey towards a wall. It should fall down and die.

Secret sanctuary

Play under the Apocalypse difficulty setting. You will run into an extremely large volcano with lava flowing at the sides. You will enter a cave with lots of passages. Go in the northwest tunnel and it should get grayer. You will then fall into another secret sanctuary.

Catching birds

When you get near a tree, examine the leaves carefully. Sometimes you will see a white pixel among the green ones. This is a bird. Jump just before the tree. The bird will fly up, but most of the time you can catch it.

Surviving insane levels

When you collect 30 eggs, the message "Extra time shift earned" will appear. When you die, you now will have a "Reincarnation" choice to start the level again.

Escaping the survival domes

• Jump on the ledge in the first survival dome. Keep jumping to your left and you will land either on the wall or between two walls. There is an invisible hook that you can jump on. Keep jumping up and to your left until you are over. To make this easier, enable the Astrosaur code.

• For survival inside the volcano, use the following steps. Go to the volcano where you normally go to paradise, but go the other way. There will be something blocking your way, so you will need a running start. Move fast enough then break through and run into the entrance. Careful, there is lava in there.

• To escape the second survival dome, keep jumping at the left wall until you get through. You will eventually get between the wall. Keep jumping near the entrance until you go through the boulders.

Glitches

Automatically run

Window the game and minimize all other windows. Hold [Right] while clicking the desktop. If done correctly, your dinosaur will run automatically. Note: If it gets stuck, click on the game window.
