Cheat Codes

Cheat mode

First, you must use either of the following methods to enable the console window.

Quickly type marvin during game play. The message "Marvin mode activated" will appear to confirm correct code entry. You can repeat the code to disable Marvin mode.
Alternately, use the file edit method. Note: This procedure involves editing a game file; create a backup copy of the file before proceeding. Use a text editor to edit the "ge3.ini" file in the "/gothic3/ini" directory. Look for this entry:

TestMode=false

And change it to:

[Game]
TestMode=true

Then, press ~ during game play to display the console window, then enter one of the following codes to activate the corresponding cheat function. Note: Certain codes do not work if the game has been patched.

Avoiding falling damage

While jumping or walking off a cliff, press your character towards the wall. Note: If walk forward is W, then press S. When he lands, no health will be lost.
