Double jumps

Press [Up] [Up] to double jump. This is very useful and should be done frequently.

Power-ups

Save your power-ups for difficult enemies. However, if you are low on health use power-ups to get you to the end of the level because they will be lost if you lose a life.

Quick shots

The default (number one) gun can shoot quickly a few times before it must be recharged. Try shooting quickly, then retreat while it recharges.

Defeating Grunt Soldiers and Grenade Droids

Crouch and shoot to kill Grunt Soldiers and Grenade Droids easily.

Avoiding seeker rockets

Jump while firing to evade the seeker rockets fired by Big Boys and Spider Mechs.

Destroying ceiling turrets

Fire triple shots to take out ceiling turrets. You can also jump frequently to evade their shots.
