4-Leaf Clover

A 4-Leaf Clover may randomly appear with weed patches that are dug up. They can be used as a bookmark in your house or as a hair accessory.

Acorns

Use the following trick to save and gain acorns easily. Gather fifteen acorns (plus ten in the mail sockets) and bury them next to the far left edge by the cliff. Keep doing this until there are only rotten acorns remaining. Get the rotten acorns and bury them away from the nice acorns. This must to be done on the October 7th. Advance the time to the October 12th or 13th. Do the same thing. Sometimes you can get about forty or more each time you do this. If you go back to the October 7th you will probably be able to get about twenty or thirty. Bury the rotten acorns then advance to October 13th. Keep doing this until you get enough acorns. You will need about 240 acorns to get everything from Cornimer.

Big Dot Shirt

Go to the pattern page, then choose a design and drag it to the bottom left hand corner. Look at your pockets and a Big Dot Shirt will be there.

Birthday Cake

Someone in your town will give you a Birthday Cake when the game is played on your birthday.

Use the following trick to get unlimited Birthday Cakes. To get a lot of lucky items, set the system date to your birthday. Then change the date forward then back. If done repeatedly, you can get unlimited Birthday Cakes. After getting the desired amount, save the game and set the date back to the actual date.

Coconuts

Look on your beach every day you might find a Coconut.

Fake paintings

Even if you buy fake paintings from Crazy Redd you can order the real ones from the catalog as long as you do not get them checked out by Blathers.

Fleas

If you ever see black dots jumping off and onto one of your animal friends, hit the animal with a net and you will have caught a flea. The animal will not become angry with you, it will just simply turn and look at you.

Flowers

Talk to Tortimer during the Flower Fest for free flowers.

To get free flowers and win the Flower Fest, go to your neighbor's house and take their flowers. You will be able to just pick the flowers up. To get more, go to your neighbors' houses every day. You can do this every day and win the Flower Fest.

When the Animals are singing (because someone has made them happy), talk to them a few times. Sometimes they will give you items, a mat, wallpaper, or clothing.

Be careful when shooting down the gifts near a river or on a bridge. The gift may fall into the river and sink. Your character will be surprised and you will lose the gift.
