Eliminating an enemy base
- Make sure you have a Cloning Vat built before attempting this trick. Build the Yuri Prime. Since you now have two, take them to an enemy base and systematically take over the base. If they have a Prism Tower (Telsa or Gatling Cannon) and it is too far in the base to capture, just take over their power plants and sell them. You can take out any base with this tactic.
- This trick will only work with the Allies and Soviets. Build 2 Flak Tracks or 10 IFVs. Put as many engineers as possible in each (10 engineers). Build some Rhino Tanks, Tesla Tanks, or Apocalypse Tanks for the Soviets. For the Allies, build a couple Grizzly Tanks, Mirage Tanks, and some Prism Tanks. Send the army into the base and have the tanks go first. They will take the defense's attacks while your engineered vehicles enter. Unload near the Construction Yard and the War Factory. If there are walls, destroy them with your tanks. Capture the Construction Yard and the War Factory and you can sell or keep them. They cannot build any MCVs or structures, so slowly eliminate them. Destroy the Barracks so they have no access to troops.
- As the Soviets, get five Apocalypse Tanks. Get one Flak Trak. Fill it with two Engineers. Next, go to an enemy base. Send in the Apocalypse Tanks. Knock out the defenses, then destroy the walls around the Construction Yard with the tanks. Then unload the Engineers, Take the Construction Yard and Barracks. Your enemy will not make any more MCVs.
- Build an IFV, Tanya, and a Chronosphere. Load the Tanya into the IFV and teleport her to the enemy's base using the Chronosphere. Have the Tanya to blow up your enemies.
- With a Crazy Ivan, place bombs on enemy Chronominers at the precise moment before they shift back to the base. The miner will return to the base and the bombs will explode. Two bomb hits and the refinery will be destroyed.
Defeating the Elite Black Legion
If playing as the Allies on the last mission, there
are four 3-stripe Apocalypse Tanks as the last line of defense.
These can easily destroy the largest of attacks from normal troops.
Get about four Spies and go to the top right corner. You will
find a base with Telsa Defenses. Get a few Harriers to the Nuke
Power Station just below and across from that base to put them
down. There may be some Dogs, so put in a few Grizzlies to kill
them. Put a Spy into the Barracks, War Factory and Soviet Battle
Lab. Also, put a Spy into one of their Ore Refineries below to
steal many credits. Get a few Psychic Commandos, another Spy,
and Mirage and Prism Tanks outside the final base. Send the Spy
into the closest Power Station or Nuclear Power Station and the
Telsas will be down. Crush the Red Soviets, but you should find
that even your veteran units (due to the Spies going into the
War Factories and Barracks) are no match. Get the Psychic Commandos
to take them over and help you take out the rest of the forces.
Killing War Miners
This trick requires you to be any Soviet country. Tech to Flak Tracks and Terror Drones. Load the Drones up in your Flak Track. Each Track can hold up to two Drones. Search for an enemy War Miner. Note: This does not work as well against Chrono Miners because they can just Chrono back to their base and be rid of your Drone. Get near the enemy Miner with your Flak Trak, then either let it get killed or unload your Trak. Your Terror Drones will automatically latch themselves to the enemy War Miner and begin to destroy it from the inside. This trick is useful becaise War Miners can destroy your Terror Drones with one shot, so you would have to send about five of them at a single War Miner. Note: If your enemy manages to send the War Miner to a repairing station before it is destroyed, it will destroy your Terror Drone.
Defeating submarines and boomers
Usually, you cannot hit Soviet submarines and Yuri's boomers because they are undetectable underwater. Rather than just building destroyers or other ships, find where the submarines or boomers are use [Ctrl] + Left Mouse Button to attack wherever desired. They will suddenly appear, and you can use other units to attack.
Get rid of the Soviet Black Elite Guard around the Kremlin
The most annoying part of any mission in the game is
when the enemy stations tanks as guards. To get rid of them, build
a Chronosphere. This strategy works especially well against the
Black Guard. First, build a Chronosphere, then find a target (in
this case a Black Guard tank). Once the Chronoshift is ready,
select a vehicle that is stationary. Activate the first part of
the Chronoshift, then scroll over to the lake and activate the
second part of the Chronoshift over the water. The tank, in this
case a Black Guard Apocalypse, will appear in the water and sink
into the lake and never return. This reserves your tanks for a
later attack.
Stop opponent from building GIs
At the very start of the game, your Allies enemy will usually build guarding GIs so that he does not have to waste time building them later. To stop this, you should do one of the following
things.
- If you are Britain, build a sniper and put it into an IFV as quickly as possible. Then, send the IFV close to your opponent's base. Do not get too close or a sniper can shoot from afar. Your IFV will take out the guarding GIs in one shot, and it will be very fast. Your opponent will not have time to react.
- Send in the three Attack Dogs to your enemy's base as quickly as possible. Bring one of them next to your enemy's Barracks. Every soldier that exits will quickly be killed by the dog. Send the other two dogs to the soldiers your enemy already made.

Finding enemies
If by any chance you are playing a CPU or an opponent
and you are a Soviet Commander, the following is a good way to
find them. If there is water (for example, Arctic Circle), first
build a Shipyard then make five to ten Squids. Have two or three
Squids guard your Shipyard. Use the rest of the Squids to scout.
The missing units are most likely submarines. Blow up all of the
bridges with Ivans and scout around all of the water. You should
be able to find them easier if you also leave bait somewhere (only
for a CPU opponent).
Get rid of trees for building
If trees are in the way of building, take them out
with some tanks. It will take a bit, but they will be destroyed
Trees require five Grizzly, Rhino, or Laser Tank shots to be destroyed.
Increase power
Get some tanks and do a force attack on your own power plant. Your power will increase.
Build everything
Note: The following trick only works for Yuri's side.
First, you must have two allies, one Soviet and one Allied. Next,
build everything you can build including Cloning Vats. Train a
Yuri Prime. Since you have Cloning Vats, you will have two. Send
one to your Allied allies and use Force Control to take control
of their Construction Yard (hold [Ctrl] and click on it).
While the Yuri Prime is still controlling the Construction Yard,
build every thing you can with the Allies. Then, repeat the entire
process again with the other Yuri Prime on your allied Soviets.
Destroy enemy Construction Yard
First, you need to have two allies, one Allied and
one Soviet. After building a Cloning Vat, build a Yuri Prime.
With the Cloning Vat you will get two of them. Send each of your
Yuri Primes to both of your allies' Construction Yard. After building
a Psychic Dominator, Nuclear Silo, and Weather Storm, wait until
they are all ready. When they are, and you know where your enemy's
construction yard is located, launch all of them one after another
as quick as possible. This will cripple your enemy's base.
Devastating attacks
- When playing as the Iraqis, build a Terrorist and an Ivan. Have the Ivan put a bomb on the Terrorist. Also try having a Demolition Truck as the Allied and Soviets. First, you need a Crazy Ivan and an IFV. Load your IFV with the Ivan and have it attack.
- Get a Flak Track, five Conscripts, and a Crazy Ivan. Get Crazy Ivan to attack a Conscript. Make sure there is a bomb ticking above their heads and load it in the Flak Track. Do this again until all five are in the Flak Track then send it into the enemy base. When it is destroyed, there will be a big explosion which can take out Prism, Tesla, and Gatling Guns. This is a cheap method, as each Flak Track costs $500, the Conscripts cost $500, and an Ivan costs $600. If you buy lots, it works out to be cheaper than a Demolition Truck. Another trick is load a couple up and leave them between you and the enemy. If they approach to attack, the enemy will destroy them and be wiped out.
Destroying Grizzly tanks
When online, when your opponent chooses to be the Soviet,
their tactic will usually be to build a lot of Grizzly tanks.
To counter this, build a lot of Mirage tanks and place them in
a group next to your base or wherever your opponent is attacking.
Mirage tanks have strong shots, and can take out a Grizzly tank
with three shots. This may seem slow, but Mirage tanks are one
of the fastest shooting tanks in the game.
Destroy two vehicles at once
This trick requires a Magnetron and two other vehicles.
First, align the vehicles so that all three are in a straight
line. Next, activate the Magnetron so that it is targeting the
vehicle farthest from it in the line. When the first vehicle is
just about to pass over the second one, press S to stop
the Magnetron. The first vehicle will fall on top of the second
one, destroying them both. You can use this trick to kill infantry,
and you will not lose the tank. Note: This trick may be difficult
to complete.
Avoid airstrike
Use the following trick when you are playing as the
Allies against one person online. If your opponent has about ten
airplanes and is about to go attack your Construction Yard (or
anything else) build one Chrono Legionnaire. Place it next to
building that is being targed. As soon as your enemy's planes
are close to the target, tell your Chrono Legionnaire to attack
your own base. When something is "chronoed" it cannot
be attacked. This will cause your enemy's planes to fly back to
their base. Then. take off the "chrono" from the target.
The building will not disappear when you "chrono" it.
Note: It takes awhile.
Safe eradication
Have a Chrono Legionnaire attack something, then force
fire ([Ctrl] + Left Mouse Button) on it until it
is destroyed. They cannot repair buildings because of the effect.
Quick kills with Chrono Troopers
It usually takes forever for a Chrono Trooper to make
things evaporate into nothingness because one trooper is only
so powerful. However, if you build (or capture) an Allied War
Factory and build a Mobile Battle Fortress, you can have the advantage
if you can produce Chrono Troops (works better if you have Navy
Seals and best if you have Snipers). Build a few Battle Fortresses
and fill each with one Seal or Sniper. Let the other four persons
in the vehicle be Chrono Troopers. For example, one Sniper or
Seal and four Chrono Troopers. With this combination of firepower
from the Track Vehicle and the Sniper/Seal to get rid of Yuri
Clones, the Chrono Troopers all wipe out the vehicles and buildings
in range. Also, because there are four Chrono Troopers firing
instead of one, the disappearance is notably faster, and thus
giving more damage to the enemy.
Base destruction with Chrono Commandos
This trick only works with the Allies. First, buy some
Spies when possible. Camouflage them as an enemy unit. Send in
the Spy and try to infiltrate a Battle Lab. You now have a Crono
Commando unit. Buy that unit and send it to a base. The Crono
Commando is just like a Chrono Legionnaire mixed with a Navy Seal.
Use the Crono Commando's detonation packs (C4) to destroy every
building. Because the Crono Commando has a machine gun and a Crono
Pack, it can teleport, destroy, and teleport to the next building.
Kill tanks and ships with one Chronophere
Play as the Allies and make a Chronophere. When it is ready, Chronophere some enemy tanks on their ships.
Destroy or seal off enemy with Tech Buildings
Select a level with Tech Buildings close to your enemy positions. The best country to be is France, but any allied nation will also work. Rush to capture the Tech Buildings around your enemy. You should have some tanks to guard the Tech Buildings. Build up Armory Structures such as the Grand Cannons or Prism Towers. Since you have Tech Buildings, they work like regular buildings; you can build next to them. Put the Grand Cannons up and they should fire on the enemy if you are close enough. If the structures are not close enough, you can seal you enemy off from the outside, allowing you to kill them much faster. Some good levels to do this with are Breakaway and Tanya's Training Ground.
Recommended Allied force
- Play as the Allies and as Great Britain. Once you can build seven to nine Battle Fortresses, in three of them, put in only Snipers. In the rest, put in Guardian G.I.s. Next, build four to five IFVs and place Engineers in them. You now have a unstoppable force. The Snipers will take out any Infantry and the Guardian G.I.s will destroy all Tanks, Planes, Base Defenses and Structures. If any of the Battle Fortresses get damaged use the IFVs to repair them.
- First, build a Chronosphere. Then, build a Naval Dock and build four Transport Hovercraft. Next, build ten Prism Tanks and two IFVs (for Anti-Air capabilities). Load up your vehicles into the transports and use the Chronosphere on them. Then, click somewhere just outside the enemy's base. Use Prism Tanks because they have an incredible range and can shoot through walls. Note: You may lose a few tanks during your invasion, but the remaining tanks should level-up quickly.
Defeat Yuri quickly
- If playing as the Soviets on the second to last mission, build about four Close Sentry guns and a Telsa Coil powered by a lot of Telsa Troopers to the right top side of your base. Have some Apocalypse Tanks guard the left. Make a Service Depot for Terror Drones. You may also want to build four more War Miners. Make about 10 Kirov Airships and send them to Yuri headquarters, which you can see at the very left top side of the map. There will be many Flak Troopers and Flak Turrents, so expect to see many losses. At least one Kirov should get through and destroy the headquarters with a few bombs.
- On the last Allied mission, build the Soviet Radar and Chrono in an Allied MCV. Once the MCV is Chronoed in, destroy it with the Prism tank and Grizzly tank and move the remaining forces to the left side of the screen. Repeat this until a sufficient force is built up and attack Yuri's bases. All of the tanks will be free. To make it easier, build a Nuke Silo and destroy the Psychic Dominator and Genetic Mutator. Alternately, use the nuke three times to destroy the Psychic Dominator and use six Kirov Airships to destroy the Genetic Mutator.
- This trick requires you to be either Yuri or Great Britain (recommended). Train Snipers or Viruses as quickly as possible and send them to Yuri's Slave Miner, but do not get too close. Your Snipers will take out the Slaves very easily, not allowing Yuri to acquire resources and thus rendering him unable to build anything. If you are Great Britain, load the Snipers in IFVs to maximize their speed and make them less vulnerable to attack. Send in more IFVs loaded with GIs or Guardian GIs or some tanks to guard the Snipers in case Yuri sends units to kill your Snipers (which often happens). If you are Yuri, the disease clouds the Viruses spread may also inflict damage on nearby Slaves.
- When playing against a Yuri CPU enemy and you have a Chronosphere, Chronoshift the Slaveminer into the water when the slaves are close to its base or units. Note: Do not harm the slaves. When the Slaveminer falls into the water, the slaves will become white neutral units and the CPU does not attack them. However, they will attack anything that is near them. The slaves will kill slowly but the CPU will not harm them
Easy wins
- This trick works with any country. First, go in and destroy everything execpt their Ore Refinery, Barracks, and Chrono/War Miner. If the opposing team is Yuri, do not destroy their Slave Miners. Also, if they have captured a Tech Oil Derrick(s), do not destroy them. Just make it so they can get infantry. Then, have the tanks leave, but have infantry that can take out your enemy's infantry:
- Yuri: Over 10+ Viruses
- Allied: 2 Navy SEALs, Tanya, or over 10 Snipers
- Soviet: Boris/over 7 Flak Troopers
- As soon as the infantry come out of the Barracks, they will be slaughtered. Doing this for a long time will result in many kills. Also, go in a three player skirmish match and do this in one base. Then, do the same thing in another, but have over 10 Yuri Clones and a nearby Grinder. When the infantry exits the Barracks, you will Mind Control them. Send them into the Grinder for additional credits.
- When playing in a game with allies, have two allies (if Allied, one Soviet, one Yuri; if Soviet, one Allied, one Yuri, etc.). Have each build two MCVs and send one to each ally's base and deploy them. Then, break the alliance. Have each send an Engineer into each Construction Yard in your base. You will have the ability to create units, buildings, and Superweapons from all three tech trees. This is devastating, since each of you has the capability to destroy most of the enemies' bases, including Construction Yards and Superweapons, in one go. Two blasts will kill a Construction Yard or Superweapon. The other one can be used to destroy buildings. Try using a Nuke and Storm against the Construction Yard, and the Psychic Dominator to not only do damage, but also capture any nearby units in order to do further damage.
- When doing the missions, always build up your base and defenses before attacking. On most missions, Yuri's forces will not actually expand their base. Once you have enough resources, build long range units (for example, the Apocalypse Tank or the Prism Tank) which can destroy Yuri's base defenses before they can affect you.
- Build ten to twenty (recommended) Slave Miners. Get them all on one ore patch. Build a Mutata and use it on your Slaves and you will have up to 150 Slaves. Note: Your Slaves will come back.
- Get a Gatling Cannon and set it to attack the ground. Call it a number and leave it. When an aircraft appears, press its number and click on the aircraft. It will fire at triple the speed. Note: This works best on Kirov Airships.
- Use the following trick to have unlimited units with Mastermind. This will only work when you have the Allies War Factory, Yuri's War Factory and the Yuri's Battle Lab. First, train three to ten Engineers, and build the same amount of IFVs. Send all the engineers into the IFVs. Next, build one Mastermind. You can now psychic control any number of units desired using this unit with all the Engineering IFVs surrounding it.
Allies: Easy wins
- If five Chrono Legionnaires are put in a Battle Fortress it becomes a Chronotank. Use Snipers, Tanyas, or Navy Seals for infantry and Tesla Troopers and Guardian GIs for tanks, or a combination of everything. Do not use the Legionaries with other units because, they will all target one unit but only the Legionnaire will shoot.
- Build an Ore Refinery, Barracks, and three or four Pillboxes. Then build the War Factory then the Battle Lab. Build three Miners and ten to fifteen Laser Tanks and destroy Yuri's base. Yuri's defenses are weak against the laser. Do not put them to close to the defenses, but aim at them from a distance.
- Paratroop many troops near your base then build a few tanks and a Navy SEAL. The GIs will kill troops and tanks. The SEAL or Tanya destroy power plants. If desired, use Harriers to destroy the entire base.
- Start as France. Build three Chrono Miners and as many IVFs as possible quickly. Build the aircraft thing and the Battle Lab. Build three Grand Cannons around your base. Build a Service Depot. To start, keep a Grand Cannon ready. Build an MCV and move it near your opponent's base so that it does not get hit. Note: You may want to bring some Mirage Tanks or IVFs with it. Deploy it. Put the Grand Cannon next to your MCV. Attack all buildings and units with Grand Cannon, and build another cannon if you can. Once done, move closer and build more Grand Cannons. Keep doing this until you wipe out their base. Note: If your opponent is sending a lot of units and tanks to kill you, also build some Prism Towers.
- Get a Battle Fortress. Send two Rocket Soldiers, one Tanya, one Chronolegionaire, and one SEAL into the Battle Fortress. Attack a building. The Chronolegionaire will handle it. The Tanya and SEAL will kill any infantry. The Rocket Soldiers will attack the buildings and tanks, causing a lot of damage. If you see a Battle Bunker, let your Rocket Soldiers attack. If they try to use air attackers, your Rocket Soldiers will take care of them. Note: Your Rocket Soldiers will be your primary weapon.
Soviets: Easy wins
- Build seven to ten Apocalypse Tanks. Make sure they get upgraded to elite. Then, fully raid the opponent's grade, starting with power plants and Construction Yard.
- Use the following trick to lay siege on a Yuri base. Build 30 or more Siege Choppers. Build 30 or more Terror Drones. Build 10 or more Flak Tracks. Move all the Siege Choppers into an area safely near the Yuri base. Deploy all the Siege Choppers when out of range of all the Yuri base defenses. Try to move the Terror Drones and Flak Tracks behind the Siege Choppers, then move the Siege Chopper one by one. Try to move close to the front of the Siege Choppers line (wait for it to be clear, then move). Then, move close to the Yuri base slowly. If you see Floating Discs, use the Flak Tracks to shoot them down. If you see a Menetron, use the Terror Drones to destroy it. Use the Siege Choppers to destroy other units. You can use Terror Drones to support your Siege Choppers against a Master Mind, but you must create new units to replace all destroyed units as quickly as possible. Destroy every enemy unit that moves close first, then move. Note: Watch for Chaos Drones -- they can disrupt your siege line.
- Build three Rhinos, one V3 Launcher, ten Conscripts, two Teslas, one Apocalypse and Boris. The Rhinos will destroy weaker defenses. The V3 Launcher will destroy stronger defenses (for example, Prism Towers). The Conscripts will kill infantry. The Tesla Troopers are to protect the Conscripts. The Apocalypse eliminates enemy tanks (fully loaded Battle Fortress). Boris will destroy AA guns and base structures. If desired, bring Engineers and capture enemy building to have new technology, then combine them (for example, an IFV and Tesla Trooper).
- Build a power plant, two Attack Dogs and a normal tank. Attack the power plant with your tank then finish it off with your dogs.
- Build many bunkers and Flak Trucks. When done, train Conscripts which are suitable for your bunkers. Build walls, then place the Flak Trucks so that they will not be vulnerable to enemy infantry (especially for Seals, Agents, Crazy Ivans, Terrorists and Demolition Trucks). If your enemy are the Yuri forces, place some Sentry guns so that Yuri Clones or Yuri Primes can be destroyed before they can mind-control your air defenses. Also, use Flak Cannons beside the Flak Trucks. Place walls around your base because the enemy may try to sneak in. When you capture a civilian structure, place defenses on it. Position Barracks, an Ore Refinery (if there are lots of gold), as well as Bunkers, Sentry Guns and Flak Cannons. Also use the Flak Trucks on the surrounding wall.
Yuri: Easy wins
- When playing as Yuri in Skirmish mode, build two Floating Discs. Send the first one to drain the enemy's power, which will disable anti-air defenses. Then, send the second to steal money from their Ore Refinery.
- This trick requires a fully charged Psychic Dominator, a fully charged Genetic Mutator, and knowledge of the enemy base's location. Use the Dominator in the center of where your enemy has a few buildings bunched together. Then, immediately use the Mutator at the same location. You should have now destroyed most of the enemy buildings and have an army of Brutes to take care of the remainder.
- Use the following trick when playing as Yuri in Skirmish or multiplayer mode. First , make sure that your base is well protected so that you do not have to worry about it later. Then, make sure that you have enough money and start building about eight Floating Discs. Keep them near your base. When they are done, order them to attack one of your opponent's power plants. This will take out the enemy's power for air defense. When one of the discs is floating over one of the power plants and draining the power, have the other discs attack the anti-air units. When those are eliminated, you will be free to destroy the base completely.
- Get the Genetic Mutator ready. Turn Super Weapons on and start a game. Build about five to ten Slave Miners and send them all to one Ore patch. Once all Slaves are in range of the Mutator, click and all the Slaves will turn into Brutes. The Slaves will be replaced and you could have 50 Brutes. Note: If you need money, grind them.
- First, built Cloning Vats. Then, build a Yuri Prime. You will get two of them. Next, build a Flying Disc. Attack a power plant with a Flying Disc to drain its power. Then have the Yuri Prime capture Barracks or a War Factory. Make some units to come out of the captured building. Finally, use your second Yuri Prime to capture the Construction Yard.
- If you can build Cloning Vats, use them to make a second Yuri Prime, Boris etc. Simply build your Cloning Vats, then build your special unit.
- Build seven to ten Flying Discs. Attack your opponent's power plant with one Flying Disc. Use the rest to attack all the structures.
- Magnetrons can lift enemy vehicles and drop them on walls, cliffs and water. They will instantly die.
- Use the following trick for the best paratrooper defense. Build Barracks. Build a Psychic Sensor. Train a Yuri Clone (800 credits). This is very useful when playing against Allied (or a side with captured Tech Airports). When you see paratroopers falling from the sky, move the Yuri Clone on the shadow on ground (multiple dots). Make sure that you moved the Yuri Clone on the location with the most shadows. Make sure that you do not have any of your infantry units close to the Yuri Clone. Click the Yuri Clone or press the "Deploy" button, and most of the troopers will explode in the air. Note: The troopers that remain will capture the Yuri Clone. Also, you can do the same thing with Yuri Prime (1,500 credits).
- Use the following trick to create a super mastermind fighter. It will allow you to control five units with one tank. Train a Yuri Prime or Engineer to capture an Allied Construction Yard, then build a Barracks, War Factory, Battle Lab and a Battle Fortress. Then, train five Yuri Clones and send them into the Battle Fortress.
- You can create a Supermind which can easily dominate the Mastermind. Mind control a Battle Fortress. Send in five Yuri Clones and move it to your enemy's base. It can trample other tanks and can fire on your enemies. It can also mind control five units, and unlike the Mastermind it can remain with full life.
- Take a Magnetron to your enemy's base. Find a tank or any other vehicle and position yourself so there is a building between your Magnetron and the vehicle. Pull the vehicle towards you. When it is directly above the building, move the Magnetron so the vehicle drops on the building. The vehicle will be destroyed and the building will suffer damage as well.
