When you get to where you need to defend the Archdemon, notice that the dog that would normally be in your party is named Barkspawn. This is the same name mentioned by a character in a Penny Arcade comic, depicting the DLC for Dragon Age Origins.

Trophies

Complete the following tasks to unlock PlayStation3 trophy rewards.

Bane of Thedas (Bronze): Handed victory to the archdemon by killing Fereldan's last Grey Warden.

Additionally there are two secret trophies.

Enthralling (Bronze): Earned maximum approval from all thrall types.

Ogre's Keeper (Silver): Keep the initial ogre as your thrall throughout the entire module.
