Status display

The highest number shown on the status menu is 255. However the game will allow items on that screen to be built higher, but will display anything greater than that number.

Quick turn around

When surprised with a back attack, try running away to automatically turn around.

Easy Chocobo races

 PC  Hold [Page Down] + [Target] while racing a Chocobo to slowly restore energy.

Parachute tricks

 PlayStation  When the game shows Cloud and the others parachuting from above, press the D-pad to do tricks with Cloud.

Final ending sequence

Wait until all the credits have completed to watch the final part of the ending sequence, which shows what happens 500 years later.

Chocobo racing music

When you race or bet on a Chocobo, the music during the race is the Chocobo music from Final Fantasy Adventure on the Game Boy. The victory music at the end of a race is the ending battle music from Final Fantasy Legend 2 for the Game Boy.
