Vs. Death level

Press Down(2), Up(2), B(2), Up(2) at the Mode Selection screen.

Vs. level select

Press Up(2), Down(2), B(2), Down(2) at the Mode Selection screen.

Karakuri Ken scroll

Pause game play in Vs. Rival mode then press Left, A, Right, B. The next block in line will become a Karakuri Ken scroll and destroy random blocks in your stack.

Koume scroll

Pause game play in Vs. Rival mode then press Up, B, Down, B. The next block in line will become a Koume scroll and destroy three horizontal lines underneath.

Zenmai scroll

Pause game play in Vs. Rival mode then press Up, A, Up, A. The next block in line will become a Zenmai scroll and destroy a vertical line.
