Cheat mode

Press Up to display the cellphone during game play. Press Up again to access the keypad. In addition to the codes available in the parent game, you can enter one of the following codes to activate the corresponding cheat function in the expansion. Safehouse weapons

Complete the indicated task to unlock the corresponding weapon at your safehouse.

.44 pistol: Complete 10 Drug Wars.

Advanced MG: Complete 20 Drug Wars.

Explosive shotgun: Complete 30 Drug Wars.

Sticky bombs: Complete 40 Drug Wars.

Parachute

Complete all base jumps to to unlock a parachute at your apartment.

Golden Buzzard

Complete the game to unlock a Golden Buzzard at Yusef's heliport near the Booth Tunnel.

Golden Super Drop Diamond

After progressing through Yusuf's missions, you will eventually receive his golden Super Drop Diamond as a reward. It will always be available when you need it, and upon entering and exiting the vehicle you will have the Golden SMG in your inventory.

Noose APC

Shoot all 50 seagulls to unlock the Noose APC at Henrique's construction site.

Hints

Get any vehicle from any mission

During transport missions, there will be some cars, boats, or planes that can only be used in that mission. Just kill the person that is with you in the vehicle and it will be yours to keep.

Avoid paying tolls

When approaching a toll booth, if there is a car in front of ready to pay, nudge the back of it to make it smash the barrier. You can then go past the toll booth without paying and attaining a wanted level.

Niko and Johnny references

• At the start of the game, as Luis is shown walking down the streets of Liberty City, you will see Niko in a vehicle after the heist. You will also see Johnny ride off on his motorcycle.
  

• At the start of the game, during the heist, Niko and the Irish family of Patrick McReary are the robbers. Unfortunately, Michael gets shot, just as the storyline in Grand Theft Auto 4.
  

• During the introduction sequence of Grand Theft Auto 4, you see a chef placing diamonds into a cake. What the man is trying to do is import millions of dollars worth of diamonds to sell them in Liberty City. By chance, the buyer is Tony, but he does not seem to be the only one who wants them. From a different point of view, you can see that the Lost gang is trying to come up behind their back. Notice that Johnny is with them.
  

• When Tony tells you to get the diamonds back from the Lost gang before they sell them, Luis has to go to the Libertonian museum and ambush them. After he shoots the man inspecting the diamonds, you can see that it is Niko and Johnny trying to sell them.

Complete the following tasks to unlock PlayStation3 trophy rewards.

Gone Down (Bronze): Complete all base jumps.

Diamonds Forever (Bronze): Complete the Trinity.

Four Play (Bronze): Hit a flag with a golf ball four times.

Bear Fight (Bronze): Win the L.C. Cage Fighters championship.

Catch the Bus (Bronze): Dance perfectly in both Tony's nightclubs.

Snow Queen (Bronze): Complete 25 drug wars.

Adrenaline-Junkie (Bronze): Freefall for the longest possible time.

Maestro (Bronze): Finish the Ballad.

Past the Velvet Rope (Bronze): Score 80% or above in all missions.

Gold Star (Bronze): Score 100% in all missions.
