Easy red coins

Play as Mario and hit the red block in the submarine area. When you start floating, start moving away from where the block was located. There will be an opening in the ceiling and you can get on top of the metal ceiling and easily get to the far area with the rest of the red coins. Simply fall down to the platform to get easy access to the other red coins.
