Glowing rabbits

There are eight glowing rabbits that randomly replace each of the character's mini-game rabbits. Once you catch all eight, you will receive a key that unlocks the white door to the right of Wario's. You will receive a Star.

After you catch all glowing rabbits you will get a key that unlocks the door in the character changing room.

Note: In order to find the glowing rabbits, you must find all the regular rabbits for each character. Also, the glowing rabbits can be caught in any order.

To unlock to glowing rabbits, you must find all seven rabbits for each character. Note: Luigi only has six, as his seventh one is on the roof of the castle which cannot be accessed until all 150 Power Stars are recovered. After this, eight white rabbits will appear at random. For the most part, each character has about two rabbits, but at the very least one. Generally, the glowing rabbit for each character can be found by going to all the rabbits, then the last one is the glowing rabbit. Once a rabbit is found that is glowing, you do not have to go to that one to make the last one glowing. There is no order on the characters; just start with Luigi and go to all rabbits until a glowing rabbit or all have been checked. Then, switch to Mario, Yoshi, and Wario. Continue until the final rabbit is found. The eighth glowing rabbit will give you a key that will open the door next to Wario's refereed to as "The Empty Room." This room contains a Power Star and nothing else.

Some locations of the rabbits are as follows.

Rabbit 1: Caught with Luigi. It is found in the underground hallway near the Lethal Lava Land course.

Rabbit 2: Caught with Yoshi. It is found in the garden on the outside of the castle near the bushes.

Rabbit 3: Caught with Wario. It is found in the hall of the Tiny-Huge Island course.

Rabbit 4: Caught with Mario. It is found on the staircase leading up to the Tick-Tock Clock course and the Rainbow Ride course.

Rabbit 5: Caught with Luigi. Found in the Bob-Omb Battlefield hall.

Rabbit 6: Caught with Wario. Found in the same place you found it with Wario. It is found in the hall of the Tiny-Huge Island Course.

Rabbit 7: Caught with Mario. Found in the Jolly Roger Bay hall.

There is no particular order to the glowing rabbits. The fastest way to catch all eight glowing rabbits is to use Yoshi and go outside (not the Boo courtyard). Yoshi has five rabbits outside alone. Go outside, catch all the glowing rabbits, re-enter the castle, then exit again. Keep repeating this until you catch all eight glowing rabbits.

When you are looking for rabbits or see some rabbits that are glowing, they belong to the white door next to Wario's door. Using Wario, go to the room for Course 2 after completing the game. You may see a white rabbit. There is a glitch for this rabbit. After the first time you catch this rabbit go outside then come back in. The rabbit is still glowing, but it says that you have not caught it. Do this three times and get closer to getting the white room key.

You can catch the rabbits with any character and almost any location. Try using Yoshi and go to the main hall of the castle. Go in and out the front door. This works better because there are always three rabbits across the bridge for Yoshi, once you have caught them. About every ten times there will be a glowing white rabbit. Once you have collected them all, the last one will give you a key to unlock the final door in the "character change" room. It will give you a Secret Castle Power Star.

To get all the glowing rabbits, get Yoshi and go to the main door when you enter the castle. Go in and out and every time look across the bridge. There should be at least three rabbits. If you keep doing this you will eventually get all the glowing rabbits.

Luigi: Rabbits

Seven Keys are carried by green rabbits in various places throughout the castle. These Rabbits will only appear when you play as Luigi. The rabbits will only appear after you have spoken to Toad in the Rec Room.

One Key is carried by a yellow rabbit to the left of the castle entrance in the tall hedges.

One Key is carried by a green rabbit in the Basement (after the moat is drained).

One Key is carried by a green rabbit in the Room to Course 1.

One Key is carried by a green rabbit in the Room to Goomboss Battle.

One Key is carried by a green rabbit in the alcove above the door in the Castle Courtyard (Back Flip twice to reach it).

One Key is carried by a green rabbit in the hall on the second floor.

One Key is carried by a green rabbit on top of the Castle. (Note: You must have all 150 Stars to reach the roof as Luigi unless you know the other way of getting up).

Mario: Rabbits

Seven Keys are carried by pink rabbits in various places throughout the castle. These Rabbits will only appear when you play as Mario. The rabbits will only appear after you have spoken to Toad in the Rec Room.

One Key is carried by a pink rabbit outside the Castle to the left of the Castle entrance.

One Key is carried by a pink rabbit outside of the Castle in the drained moat.

Two Keys are carried by pink rabbits in the Basement.

One Key is carried by a pink rabbit in the room to Course Three.

One Key is carried by a pink rabbit in the hall on the second floor.

One Key is carried by a pink rabbit in the Mirror Room on the second floor.

Wario: Rabbits

Seven Keys are carried by orange rabbits in various places throughout the castle. These Rabbits will only appear when you play as Wario.

One Key is carried by an orange rabbit over the bridge to the right of the castle entrance.

One Key is carried by an orange rabbit in the Basement.

One Key is carried by an orange rabbit in the Castle Courtyard.

One Key is carried by an orange rabbit in the room to Course 2.

One Key is carried by an orange rabbit in the room to Course 13.

Two Keys are carried by orange rabbits in the room to Course 14.

Yoshi: Rabbits

Seven Keys are carried by yellow rabbits in various places throughout the castle. These Rabbits will only appear when you play as Yoshi. The rabbits will only appear after you have spoken to Toad in the Rec Room.

One Key is carried by a yellow rabbit to the right of the castle entrance in a flowerpatch.
