Higher jumps

To jump even higher than a triple jump, first do a triple jump. At the peak of your third jump, spin. This will make you jump higher so you can reach things that are too high to reach with a triple jump.

Flying Mario

To get flying Mario, you need to get the sixth Grand Star that will open two new domes, "The Garden" and "The Gate". Enter "The Gate" dome and talk to the red Luma that gives you a challenge to get all 100 purple coins. He will give you a red star that will make you fly after you spin in midair. After you finish that challenge the same red stars will appear in the observatory to make Mario fly.

Successfully complete the game until you unlock the gate and the garden. Go to the gate and walk to Rosilina. She will say she trusts you and disappears. A red star will say you will gain his trust by collecting 100 purple coins scattered across that planet. He will give you the power to fly by jumping then spinning. It only lasts for about a minute and a half. Collect the coins and get the red power star. There are now two areas where you can begin flying; the garage and on top of the bedroom. To get more flying time, break the shield, get the flying star, and fly around a little bit. When the song is close to reaching the end go to the next area and get the other flying star. You may do this as many times as desired.

Easy extra lives

There is a box in the garage. Smash it to get an extra life. Enter and exit the Terrace. It will reappear. Repeat this as many times as desired.

Note: The Kitchen must be unlocked for this trick, as it lights up the necessary area. When heading to the Kitchen, you will find the stairs. Go in the opposite direction of the stairs. You will find a mushroom. Go into any dome. Note: If pressed for time, go to the Kitchen as it is the closest. Leave the dome and go back to where you found the mushroom. Pick it up again. Keep doing this until you have as much as needed. Note: You can do this until you have 99 lives, which is the maximum amount.

Sleeping Mario

Allow the game to idle for about one minute and Mario will go to sleep.
