Garfield Park: Easter Egg

Easy Titan kills

On the chapter after the Iceland Tower, when in the house where you face the marauder there is a Splicer hidden behind a chimney-like structure on the top floor. You can use this later when you have to face three Titans on a boat at once. Rev up the blade and fire it at a Titan. This will kill it in a few seconds, meaning you only need three shots to kill them all. This can then be used an alternative to using the Wraith against another Titan when you reach the roof of the boat, so you can save its ammunition for the next firefight.

Easy Medic experience

Use the following trick for easy experience for a Medic in single player mode. Have two controllers. Use one to sign in as the Medic and the other as Spec Ops. Go to Chicago and play until you reach a car. Shoot the car to make it explode then have the Spec Ops jump on top of it so he will take damage. Heal him every time his health gets low. When you run low on ammunition, switch controllers and throw yourself ammo as required. Note: After awhile the car will go out and you will have to find another one.

Easy Co-op mode with single player

This trick requires two controllers. To play Co-op mode by yourself without dying and ending the mission, press Start on the second controller. Choose a class and start the mission. Leave that player safe somewhere away from danger then go off and complete the missions with the other player. You will respawn instead of dying and ending your mission. You also can gain levels without getting online.

Easy "OMGWTFBBQ" trophy

Instead of playing the entire game under the Superhuman difficulty setting, simply complete the last chapter under that difficulty.

Metal Gear Solid series references

• In Twin Falls, enter the tunnel and get inside a subway car. Destroy the pods inside and some will have a Moai head from Easter Island. These heads were also hidden throughout various Metal Gear Solid games.

• In Co-op mode, zoom in on a prototype ammo kit on the ground. The phrase "MGS4P4WNS" can be seen on the exterior of the kit.

Trophies

Complete the following tasks to unlock PlayStation3 trophy rewards.

Rampage! (Bronze): Kill 40 hybrids in the Single Player Campaign.

Covert Ops (Bronze): Collect 5 pieces of Intel in the Single Player Campaign.

Nowhere to Hide (Bronze): Tag and kill 30 enemies with the Bullseye in the Single Player Campaign.

Sharpshooter (Bronze): Get 30 headshots while scoped in with the Fareye or Marksman in the Single Player Campaign.

Explosives Expert (Bronze): Get 150 kills with the Carbine 40mm, LAARK, or Frag Grenade in the Single Player Campaign.

They Go "Boom" (Bronze): Get 30 kills with the Magnum secondary fire in the Single Player Campaign.

Pyromaniac (Bronze): Set 100 enemies of fire with the Bellock Semi-Automic, Air-Fuel Grenade, Spider Grenade, or environmental hazard in the Single Player Campaign.

Bryce Canyon: Station Genesis perimeter

After you clear the landing zone and get dropped into the battle, you will get to the top of a small hill on which you will fight off Chimera and some of Chameleons. After you clear this area, notice the large boulder with a destroyed greenish colored bomb next to it. Look at the boulder. Notice it has a crack on it. Walk up to the boulder and keep walking. You will walk through it and find yourself in a small area surrounded by various rocks and boulders, all of which you cannot walk through, but can see through when you walk up to them. To get out, walk back through though the boulder you came in from.

Unlimited experience

This trick requires two players in Co-Op mode. One player must play as Special Ops. Have the non-Special Ops player fire one shot from his or her weapon and go to a control panel that requires a second player at another panel. While the player is at the panel the Special Ops player can throw an unlimited amount of ammo boxes at the player. The Special Ops player will keep getting experience for each box.
