Killing beasts

Find a traps (for example, spikes, smashing doors or opening floors). Zoom with your crossbow on the other side and attract any enemies. Beasts or lizard warriors can be killed easily with the trap in between.

Defeating Brogar

Brogar's single strike can take away lot of your health during the early part of the game. Before fighting him, learn the Counterattack skill from Craig (level 2 in sword). Place a bet with Craig and challenge him in the arena. During the fight, press [Counterattack] continuously. He has no chance of hurting you, and he will end up losing his health. When he is down, you can take away his weapon, money, potion and a piece of the golden sword (which is a part of the quest).

Defeating Lizards

Use the following trick to defeat Lizard Elites or Lizard Warriors when they appear in a group. Draw your bow and hit one of them. Leave that location and make sure they are following you. Go to an area with men and they will help you kill them.

Robbing NPCs

You can get experience points and items by defeating friendly NPCs. However, when attacking NPCs sometimes other nearby NPCs will become hostile and attack. It is possible to avoid them with the following steps. Attack the target NPC only once. The NPC will raise their weapon but not attack you. Sheathe your weapon and wait for the NPC to lower their weapon. Repeat the steps until the NPC is defeated, then collect their items. Note: This may not work on some Order NPCs, because attacking them only once may provoke them to become hostile.

Faster water and swamp movement

Certain areas such as the swamp or when waist deep in water by the beach will cause you to move slowly. To avoid this, jump while moving.

Glitches

Unlimited gold and experience

East of the Don's camp, in the swamp, is the weed farmer (Rhobart). He asks for ten weeds and will give you 70 gold and 50 experience points if you have it. After giving him all of your weed, knock him out and steal everything he has. This should include a low level weapon (usually a rusty sword or an axe). Give him the weed you stole and knock him out again. Weapons will randomly appear in his inventory. Repeat this for a little gold and experience points.
