Repair any damage

Hold F to refuel for one second in the pits while the engine is off and the emergency brake is on to fix any damage instantly.

Race on the test track

Note: This procedure involves editing a game file; create a backup copy of the file before proceeding. Enter the "!Saloon" folder and go into the "DISC2" directory. Enter the "!SILVER" directory and rename the "DATA" file to "DATA2". Enter the"!TESTTRACK" directory and copy the "DATA" file into the "!SILVER". directory. Start the game and select Silverstone as your course to race on the test track.

Quick start

If you can see the lights at the start, do not wait for the green. Instead, accelerate as soon as the lights turn to yellow. Use this trick to easily gain a few positions.

Silverstone: Shortcut

If you are starting at the back of the grid at Silverstone, you can bypass the traffic through the pit lane.
