Characters

Complete the indicated task to unlock the corresponding character.

Asch: As Leon/Kyle, an extra event appears after fighting Shing/Kohak, fight him in the north. As Stahn, fight him in the main story then again in the north.

Chester and Arche: View and defeat them in extra events in Luke/Tear's and Jade/Anise's Yggdrassil Story modes.

Cless and Kratos: Complete Lloyd and Collete's Yggdrassil Story modes.

Dhaos: Complete every other Yggdrassil Story mode besides his and Mint/Barbatos.

Eugene: win all twenty Special Battles.

Jade and Anise: Complete Luke and Tear's Yggdrassil Story mode.

Luke (short hair): Complete Luke and Tear's Yggdrassil Story mode. He replaces long hair Luke at the character selection screen, but you can still select long hair Luke by holding Start.

Mao and Caius: Complete Yuri and Farah's Yggdrassil Story mode.

Mint and Barbatos: Complete Dhaos' Yggdrassil Story mode.

Nanaly and Harold: Fight her in an extra event in both Yuri/Farah's and Mao/Caius' Yggdrassil Story modes. The event is located in the northeast section of the map.

Philia and Kongman: View and defeat them in extra events in Luke/Tear's and Jade/Anise's Yggdrassil Story modes.

Presea: Fight her in an extra event on the middle island in both Yuri/Farah and Mao/Caius stories.

Richter: View the extra events involving him in both Lloyd/Collete's and Cless/Kratos' Yggdrassil Story modes

Rita and Judith: View and defeat them in extra events in both Lloyd/Collete's and Cless/Kratos' Yggdrassil Story modes.

Ruca and Iria: Defeat them in Leon/Kyle's Yggdrassil Story mode Extra event. Then in Stahn's Yggdrassil Story mode, defeat them with Presea in the main story, then view an event to the northwest.

Senel: Fight him in an extra event in Jade/Anise's Yggdrassil Story mode and complete it. Then in Mao/Caius Yggdrassil Story mode, view his Extra event.

Shing and Kohak: View and defeat them in extra events in both Lloyd/Collete's and Cless/Kratos' Yggdrassil Story modes.

Stahn: Complete Leon and Kyle's Yggdrassil Story modes.

Wallbreakers mini-game characters

Complete the indicated task in the Wallbreakers mini-game to unlock the corresponding character.

Celsious: Complete Wallbreakers in five minutes or less.

Frio: Complete Wallbreakers.

Kyaro: Tap L, R alternately at the results screen to move the penguin across the screen before the final results appear.

Valkyrie: Press Analog-pad Up and Analog-pad Down, then tap L, R alternately at menu to move Sandra across the screen until two speech bubbles appear.
