Play as Human Smoke

Select Cyber Ninja Smoke. Before a round begins, hold the following buttons until Human Smoke appears. For player one, hold Left + HP + HK + Block + Run. For player two, hold Right + HP + HK + Block + Run.

"Crispy!" comment

Hold the indicated buttons during the Hell "Pit" fatality. Hold both HP buttons to hear Dan Forden say "Crispy!". Hold both Run buttons to hear Shao Kahn say Crispy.

Hidden characters

Select Arcade mode as any character under any difficulty setting. Intentionally lose your first match and allow the timer to count all the way down. When the timer reaches zero a screen will appear where you can enter codes. Each block corresponds to a specific button. You must enter the following codes within ten seconds to unlock the corresponding character.

Classic Sub-Zero: Press Y(8), A, RB(8), B(3), X(5) on controller one, then Y(8), A, RB(8), B(3), X(5) on controller two.

Ermac: Press Y, A(2), RB(3), B(4), X(4) on controller one, then Y(4), A(4), RB(3), B(2), X on controller two.

Milena: Press Y(2), A(2), RB(2), B(6), X(4) on controller one, then Y(2), A(2), RB(2), B(6), X(4) on controller two.

Note: Use the following trick to save the hidden characters so they do not have to be unlocked again. Unlock the desired character(s) in Arcade mode. Go to the character selection screen. Pause game play, then exit the game. The unlocked characters will be available for the remainder of your game session. When you start the game again, you must first enter Arcade mode to load the previously unlocked characters. Wait until the character selection appears, then exit. You can now play with the unlocked characters online. Not going into Arcade mode first will result in those characters being removed as playable.

Achievements

Complete the following achievements to unlock Xbox Live Gamerscore points.

Flawless (11 points): Complete a Flawless victory against the CPU (1 round).

Fatality (15 points): Complete a Fatality during an Xbox Live Versus game.

Soother (20 points): Complete a Babality against the CPU.

My Friend (20 points): Complete a Friendship during an Xbox Live Versus game.

Combo Number 5 (15 points): Complete a 5 hit combo against the CPU.

Competitor (12 points): Win a total of 10 Xbox Live Ranked Versus matches.

Double Time (8 points): Complete a 2 hit combo against the CPU.

Match Three (10 points): Reach the third match in any single player tournament.

Match Five (12 points): Reach the fifth match in any single player tournament.

Century (30 points): Win a total of 100 Xbox Live Ranked Versus matches

Beat the Noob! (25 points): Beat the hidden character, Noob Saibot while playing the CPU.

Ultimate (22 points): Become the champion in any single player tournament.

Win ten Xbox Live Ranked matches to unlock a secret Gamerpic with the number "3" and the Mortal Kombat.

Defeating Noob Sailot

Play an eight player tournament and make all your characters Kano. Win the tournament and select the number 3 thing. Keep pressing [Low Punch] and you should win the round. Keep doing this until you have won the match.

Easy way to get Lost Treasures

Play an eight player tournament. When you win you will be able to choose any of the treasures. This is much easier than beating tournament mode.
