How to submit

to submit and please remember to include the title of the game, the name of the computer or videogame system, and an accurate description of your cheat code, tip, or trick. We cannot post your submission without that information. If desired, you can also submit a screenshot of your discovery as an email attachment, or a link to a video on Youtube or other site (see below). Your submission will be posted on GameWinners.com with your name and an anti-spam encrypted hyperlinked email address in the credits. If you wish to remain anonymous, please note this with your submission.

Submissions that do not make sense, have excessive spelling or grammatical errors, or duplicate existing information will not be posted. We are also no longer accepting information that first require a GameShark, Pro Action Replay, Code Breaker, etc. code to be used for an event to happen.

If you are using another web-based email service such as Hotmail, Gmail, or Yahoo! Mail, hold [Ctrl] and click on the name of your service to open it in another window. Then, log in and send your submission to

On behalf of everyone that visits the site, thanks for sharing your information with the rest of us!

Attachments

Due to the inherent problems and risks associated with executable files, please do not submit trainers, editors, and other utilities, as they will not be posted on the site. However, we will accept strategy guides, maps, and saved games sent as attachments to your email message.

Videos

You can also let us know about a video that demonstrates your submission. We can link to videos posted on Youtube, Google Video, DailyMotion, or other video sharing sites. Simply include the URL to your video with your email and we'll do the rest. We do have some suggestions to increase the chance that your video will be featured on GameWinners:

  • Do not use custom background music, due to copyright issues. The game's background sound should be left intact as they often include important details about what's going on in the game.
  • Whenever possible, try to use direct video capture. If that's not possible, shoot your video in a darkened room to improve screen quality. Games are fast moving and even harder to follow when viewed in a compressed video file, so everything you can do to improve video quality is appreciated.
  • Do not voice narrate unless necessary. Use Youtube annotations, text overlays, or transition screens to spell out exactly what you are doing. It's sometimes difficult to follow voice narration due to the quality of sound encoding. Voice narration should only be done if you have quite a bit to say.
  • Finally and optionally, we'd appreciate it if you could give GameWinners.com a shoutout in your video, either as a text transition or in the audio. Thanks!
