Cheat Codes

Cheat mode

Tap the small spot in the center of the main menu to display a cheat entry box. Then enter one of the following codes to activate the corresponding cheat function.

Harder hits

Enter SMASHMOUTH as a code.

More fumbles

Enter SUPERSLICK as a code.

More interceptions

Enter BADPASS as a code.

More sacks

Enter SAD SACK as a code.

Opponent gets three downs

Enter SHORTTIME as a code.

Your team gets five downs

Enter LONGTIME as a code.

Hints

Passing

If you are playing in season mode, to get more passing yardage use Directional mode. It will show when a receiver is open, and you can still throw the ball when a receiver is not fully open.

Select M. Sherman's playbook and use the Shotgun Double Flag play. Make sure that passing is in normal mode. When you snap the ball, wait for the right receiver to run his route (when he is coming back to the right) and throw a bullet. This will usually get a first down.

Touchdown celebration

Hold L to spike the ball after a touchdown.
