Cheat mode (client):
The following codes will work on the single player
retail version of the game, and only on a saved game. They do
not work in the demo or multi-player games. Edit your Windows
9x/ME Desktop Shortcut for the game and change the "Target"
field to:
"C:\Program Files\Return to Castle Wolfenstein\WolfSP.exe"
set sv_cheats 1
If using Windows XP, right click on the single play shortcut.
On the "Command Line", make sure the command line is
in quotes and add set sv_cheats after a space, so it resembles:
"drive:\path\folder\WolfSP.exe" set sv_cheats
1
Alternately, open an MS-DOS prompt, use the cd command
to change to the game directory and start the game with the wolfsp
set sv_cheats 1 command line.
Edit the path as necessary if you installed the game to another
location. Start the game. Press ~ during game play to display
the console window. Enter one of the following codes to activate
the corresponding cheat function.

Note: The codes only work when you load a saved game. They do
not work when you start a new game. In order to do this, start
a new game, then save it. Display the console and type /killserver.
Then, go to the load menu and load the game that was just saved.
The cheats will now be enabled.

Hint: Forest level: First tower guard:
Ignore him and the two guards at the bridge. You cannot
kill them without setting off the alarm.

Hint: Forest level: Getting past the concrete
tunnel:
As soon as you enter the tunnel, you will hear a guard
ask if this is the only shipment. Do a full sprint towards the
guard and the truck that is leaving. Duck into the doorway on
the right side and quietly open the door. If you do not do this
at a full sprint, a second guard near the truck will see you as
the truck pulls off and set off the alarm.

The guards at the bridge and the tower can be taken out. You have
to kill the tower guard first, then spy on the guards on the bridge
until both of them are looking away from you. Then, run up and
backstab each of them.

Hint: The Last Mission Set: Stopping Heinrich's
resurrection:
There is no time limit to finishing this set of missions.
You cannot stop the ceremony, so take your time.

Hint: Defeating: Heinrich I:
He is harder to contend with, given those zombie warriors
surrounding him firing life-sucking demons at you. Use the Tesla
gun to hit several of the monsters at once, including Heinrich,
while circling him. However, this will not be enough to kill him.
Once it runs out, use the Venom gun to finish him off.

Wait when you get into the room that you can look out into the
battlefield. When he walks towards you and enters the room, you
can run out very quickly and the room will close off on him. Heinrich
will scream very loud before exploding, completing the game.

When you reach the doorway that leads out into the courtyard,
do not exit. Wait for the attackers to come to you. Make certain
that all of them enter the room with you. Hiding around the corner
by the door that you came in through works well. You will have
to dash from corner to corner to avoid being hit or killed. Do
not kill any of them or Heinrich will just create more. Once they
are all in the room with you, run out through the doorway that
leads to the courtyard. The doorway will collapse behind you,
trapping them inside. At this point, go straight for Heinrich.
He should be slightly off to your right. As soon as he comes in
view, start hitting him with your Panzerfaust. It is imperative
that you stay close to him, but no so close as he can get at you.
If you get too far away from him, he will summon ghouls, If you
get too close, he decapitates you. The key is to fire at him continually
with everything you have and stay as close to him as possible.
If he gets close to you, he will yell and jump, which will propel
you towards him. Do not try to run away. Instead, as soon as you
see him jump, run towards him. By doing this, you will actually
be propelled by him instead of landing in front of him. Once you
get a safe distance from him, start firing again. Also, if you
can lure him under the crane holding the large barrel you can
shoot at the barrel. It will fall on him. Make sure you are far
away when it lands.

Hint: Defeating Lopers:
These monsters easily outrun you, but do have a major
weak point--and it is not their heads. Aim your gun at their telsa-like
apparatus. If you score some direct hits they will explode into
bloody chunks.

The Loper can be defeated by simply spraying a shot of flame on
it. Once it catches fire, it will burn to death. Note: This was
done in Bring It On mode.

Hint: Defeating Possessed Hegla:
As soon as you emerge from the basement with the ammo
stash, the Boss battle will begin. Quickly rush to the gate on
the other side of the cathedral's courtyard and plant some dynamite.
Take out the other zombies around and go back for the hole. Hegla
for some reason will not go in the hole after you. Thus, you can
rush over and lob grenades potshot style under where she goes
down.

Hint: Defeating Proto-Super Soldiers:
Beware of the rockets they fires and the venom gun
they carry. The best way to kill them is to catch them around
corners with planted dynamite, toss grenades, or use rockets.
Be sure to get out of the way after taking the shot.

Hint: Defeating Super Soldier (first meeting):
The Tesla weapon will take you out quickly if you do
not get out of its line of fire. Jump the railing to the right
and get behind the window. He cannot seem to see you at that location.
Blast it with whatever rockets you have left, then try luring
him behind the window so you can move around the rest of the room
to get the armor and med kits, as well as kill the enemies on
the catwalk. You will have to take potshots at the Super Soldier
until it starts limping for a better chance at hitting him with
grenades and machine guns.

When fighting the Super Soldier with the Telsa Gun, while he is
in the computer room under Deathshead, run up the stairs to the
catwalk. Stop directly next to the door where Deathshead is talking
in that room and get the Super Soldier's attention. When he walks
under you, fill his head full of bullets. A few bullets should
kill him. This is much easier then continually shooting him in
the armor.

The normal Super Soldiers can be shot at without them shooting
back. Their gun is on their right arm. If you hide slightly behind
a wall to the left, they cannot hit you as much with their gun.
Using a Venom Gun against them is recommended.

Hint: Defeating undead:
The undead can be defeated by simply spraying a shot
of flame on it. Once it catches fire, it will burn to death. This
does not work for the undead and has to be totally destroyed by
shooting the body until it explodes. Note: This was done in Bring
It On mode.

Hint: Unlimited grenades in multi-player
mode:
Note: Both the server and client must be running on
v1.0 for this trick. It will not work if newer patches have been
installed. As a lieutenant in multi-player mode, select your grenade.
Hold B + E (Binoculars + Tilt Right) and press Fire.
You can throw as many grenades as desired. Hold B + E
the entire time that you throw grenades.

Hint: Unlimited gas for flame thrower:
Enable the /give all code or get the flame thrower
normally. Then, lean around a corner so that the enemy cannot
see you. Shoot your flame thrower. This should negate the lean
command. Shoot puffs of fire around the corner briefly so that
you can lean again. The puffs of smoke will not waste your ammunition,
but will still set your enemy on fire.

Hint: Kill players faster in multi-player
mode:
Its more effective to shoot your opponents in the head
rather than the chest or any other area. If you get head shots,
you will kill players faster.

Hint: Better accuracy in multi-player mode:
For better accuracy on longer shots, simply crouch
and shoot.

Hint: Secret room in multi-player Depot
level:
For the Axis, go all the way to the anti-aircraft gun
and take a left, going through the door and to the stairs. Once
you get to the first stop, you will see crates in a stopped elevator.
Jump on the boxes until you get through the elevator. Once there,
climb the ladder to the top. You are now in a secret room overlooking
your base. Guard that location so that the Allies cannot use it
for a sniping position.

Hint: Glitched intermission sequences:
During an intermission sequence, enable the \camera
1 code to gain control of the player. Type it again when the
game gets camera control back. Enable the \give all code
if you do not have any weapons, then select a weapon using its
bounded key. Enable the /noclip code if you are not in
the correct location. Glitching the OSA intermissions with explosives
can be very funny. You can even kill Himmler when he is not invincible
during the intermission sequence after the defeat of the last
Boss. You can find intermissions by loading the auto saves.

Glitch: Dam level airplane:
In the Dam level, the opening sequence shows the airplane
and someone looking like Agent Blastowitz ready to parachute out.
Enable the /noclip code and go behind the dam wall (not
the side where you can fall and die). Once there, look throughout
the sky. You may notice an airplane. Float in and disable the
/noclip code. The soldier will attempt to attack you, but
does not have a gun. When you kill him, he stands frozen. There
are also guns on the plane that are usable, but there is not anything
to shoot.

Glitch: Stupid guard:
On mission 1 (where you attack the guard and escape
from the cell), in the courtyard, go to the room where there are
two guards warming their hands. Note: If you have triggered the
alarm this will not work. Sneak up behind the one who is holding
an MP40 and backstab him. The other guard should not notice. If
you get too close he will begin to turn around. If this happens,
it will not work. It will also not work if it takes more than
one stab to kill him. Note: This was done under the "Don't
Hurt Me" difficulty setting.

Glitch: See through truck:
On Norway, the snowy map, there is a base that has
trucks inside. Go to the one that does not have a machine gun
on it. Jump in the bed of it then go forwards and crouch down.
If you are as far as you can go, you should be able to see though
it.
