The Sims: Double Deluxe Edition

Cheat mode:
Press [Ctrl] + [Shift] + C during game play to display a prompt in the upper left corner of the screen. Enter one of the following codes to activate the corresponding cheat function. Note: Enter [Exclamation point] at the prompt to repeat the last cheat entered. Enter a [Semi-colon] between codes to enter multiple codes at the same time. Additionally, most of the codes will only work with the unpatched version of the game.

Hint: Make your Sim eat air:
Make your Sim make dinner and let he or she sit down at the table. When he or she is about to eat, enter buy mode. Then, switch it over to the other side on another chair. This will move your Sim to the other side without its plate. Watch your Sim as it pokes at the table with its fork and eats.

Hint: Free pizza:
Order a pizza. Enable the move_objects on code. Wait for the pizza be delivered. When the deliveryman drives up and starts walking towards your house, go to buy or build mode. Grab the pizza in his hand and put it on the ground. Then, delete the delivery man. His car should immediately disappear, then he should drive up again to deliver another pizza. Repeat this as many times as desired. To keep the pizza from getting stale, put it in your Sim's inventory. If the deliveryman does not drive back up after you delete him, try deleting his car the next time he appears.

Hint: Expensive car in garage:
Make sure you have a garage. When you get promoted, you will have a nice car pool car that picks you up. Enable the move_objects on code, then move the car into the garage. Finish the walls and that car will not be able to leave the garage, thus making it appear that you have an expensive car in your garage.

Hint: Second story:
Instead of placing a number of pillars to make a second story, just build a normal first floor with nothing in it, then build a second floor and delete the walls on the first floor.

Note: When you build a story over mid-air, then build a kitchen in that floating room, the Sims will not sit down and eat. They will try another chair, and another, and eventually if they cannot find a spot to eat, will just stand.

Hint: Teleporting NPCs:
When you have a NPC character such as the repoman, police, male/female entertainer, fire man, gardener, maid, news girl, caterer, you can lock them in a fence. but eventually, they have the power to teleport. A cylinder of teal circles will surround them, and they will disappear. The grim reaper is also like this, however, its teleportation graphics are quite different. They are little black skulls dancing up and down.

Hint: House of flames:
Buy a lot of rugs and put them down under all your furniture. Make sure all your rugs touch each other. Get a fire works launcher. Launch it on a rug. They will all catch on fire and cause one big blaze.

Hint: Increase chance of twins:
To increase the chance of having twins, have your Sim (male, female, or both) eat cheesecake before trying for a baby.

Glitch: Unclothed Sim floating in air:
Get the Heart Bed. Make sure you have an adult Sim. Put your adult Sim in the bed and vibrate it. Enable the move_objects on code and take the bed away from the Sim. Your Sim will now be floating in mid-air, naked. Put anything under your Sim (a table, etc.) Go to live mode and the Sim will pull up covers from the table or just presume that they are naked.

Glitch: Stool labeled as Doll House:
Have a child in your family. Get them to use the sink and they will get on top of a stool. Pause game play and enable the move_objects on code. Pick up the stool, and it will read "Doll House".

Glitch: Swim in a puddle:
If you have a puddle on your lot, make one of your Sims start swimming in the swimming pool. Then, enable the move_objects on code. Pick up your Sim and put them in the puddle. It will appear as if your Sim is swimming in a puddle.
