Cheat mode:
Press [Ctrl] + [Shift] + C during
game play to display a prompt in the upper left corner of the
screen. Enter one of the following codes to activate the corresponding
cheat function. Note: Enter [Exclamation point] at the
prompt to repeat the last cheat entered. Enter a [Semi-colon]
between codes to enter multiple codes at the same time.

Quick money:
Enable cheat mode and enter rosebud;: as a code.
Then hold [Enter] so that "No such cheat" begins
to flash. Keep the key held to gain up to 99 million simolians.

Enable cheat mode and enter rosebud as a code, then enter
!;!;!;!; and so on. Every "!" results in another
1,000 simolians.
Enable cheat mode and enter rosebud as a code, then enter
!;!;!;!;! and so on. After your last exclamation point,
type a semi colon then a colon. The end of your entry should look
like !;!;!;!;: Then, hold [Enter]. The "No
such cheat" message will flash. Hold [Enter] to quickly
get up to 9,999,999 simoleons.
Once your money status is at 9,999,999 simoleons, anything that
you buy or spend (such as like bills), will not deduct from your
total.

Restore health:
You can use this trick if your Sim is tired, weak,
needs food, and needs to go to work at the same time, or for any
other occasion. When your Sim is very low on health, then tell
him or her to take a nap on a couch. When the Sim is napping on
the couch, activate the move_objects on code. Select the
couch that the Sim is napping on and sell it. Purchase the same
couch or love seat and place it in the exact location that the
previous couch or love seat was at. Do not replace a couch with
a love seat or vice versa. Your Sim will be standing in the doorway
or somewhere else in the house and his/her health meter will full.

Full need meters:
Sit your Sim on a couch and enable the move_objects
on code. Go to build mode and delete the couch when your Sim
is still on it. Return to live mode and time will go into fast
forward as if you were sleeping (if there are no other Sims currently
in the family). Then, click on the Sim's face at the bottom of
the screen and everything but your bladder will go up all the
way. Note: At times one skill point for body may be lost.

If your Sim is very depressed or has another low attribute, enable
the move_objects_on code and pause game play. Click on
the Sim in buy/sell mode and click the bottom of the screen to
delete him/her. Once deleted go to the live mode and double clock
the person's head icon to go to where that Sim is located. Everything
should be close to full. Note: Wave the game immediately before
performing this cheat, or you will lose any career changes or
points you have earned.

If you are having troubling making sure your Sims bars
do not drop too low, pause game play, then tell your Sims what
they need to do. When you resume the game you will not have to
worry about trying to get your Sims bars full.

If you throw a big enough party, Drew Carey will show
up to entertain and hang out until it ends.

You can get a large party at your just by calling people repeatedly.
Put a birthday cake in your Sim's house and make one of your Sims
blow out the candles. If the party is big enough, Drew Carey will
appear in a limo.

Campfire ghost:
Have a Sim that has a Charisma/Creativity over 6. Light
a fire and tell a story. Once in a great while, a campfire ghost
will appear and haunt your Sims until the fire goes out.

Surprise cake dancers:
Buy two cake dancing cakes. Then, hire a male cake
dancer. Then, try to hire another male dancer with the other cake.
The message "You've already hired that cake dancer!"
will appear. Ignore this, and click "OK". Keep trying
to hire another male cake dancer, and sooner or later you will
either get the Tragic Clown or Elvis. The same can be done with
hiring two females, but you will get someone in a pink gorilla
suit.

Buy the Porto-Parody Trunk, click on it with the kid,
then click "Formal Wear".

Perfect personality:
At the Create A Family screen, when you are choosing
your Sim's body, head, etc., give your it no personality. When
you are living in a house, tell your Sim to make a potion. Once
he/she has made a yellow potion, tell him/her to drink it. Their
personality will be permanently full.

When you create a Sim, make his or her personality opposite what
you would like it to be. For example, if you want to have all
of the fields completely full, leave them completely empty. After
you buy a lot, buy a chemistry set and start working on your logic
skills. Drink any potions that will help aid your discomfort,
hunger, energy, etc. Get rid of others that would do something
unpleasant and buy a new chemistry set. Once you make a yellow
potion, drink it and it will change your personality to what you
portray as a perfect Sim.

Potion effects:
Avanette Lillard.
Yellow: Switches your Sim's traits around. For example, if at
10 nice, after drinking it will be 0 nice.
Red: Love potion, works randomly on anyone of the opposite gender.
Blue: Refreshes almost all feelings, hunger, comfort, etc.
Purple: Turns the Sim into a monster that walks around your house
breaking everything. Turns back when there is nothing to break.
Green: Does the opposite of Blue (makes you sad, weak, hungry,
etc.)
Orange: Makes your Sim invisible; becomes see-through and half
of his or her legs disappear.
Dark Green: Creates a evil clone.
Easy money:
Enable the move_objects on code. Buy a Bubble
Making Machine and have a Sim blow some bubbles. Then, after a
few Bubble Groups appear, go into buy mode and click in the bubbles.
You can sell them for 1 Simolean.
Enable the rosebud code and get 15,000 Simoleons. Buy a
Servo Robot and have your Sim turn it on. Wait for it to come
out and leave the room. Enter build mode, then enable the move_objects
on code. Go down to the hand tool, click on its case, and
press [Delete]. You should get 15,000 Simoleons. Find the
Servo Robot, then do the same thing to get another 15,000 Simoleons.
This allows you to make a net gain of 15,000 Simoleons, and have
enough to repeat the trick.

Fixing missing mailbox and trash can glitch:
Note: This procedure involves overwriting a game file;
create a backup copy of the file before proceeding. Find the lot
in a neighborhood that is missing the mailbox and outside trash
can (for example, Lot 1 of Neighborhood 2) and another lot that
has a mailbox and trash can in another neighborhood with the same
lot number (for example, Lot 1 of Neighborhood 3). Open the "userdata"
folder of the Neighborhood that contains the good lot (for example,
"userdata3"). Open the "houses" folder and
right click on the housefile of the good house (for exmaple, "house01.iff")
and select "Copy". Then, go into the house folder of
the bad lot (for example, "userdata2"), right click,
and select "Paste". Answer "Yes" if asked
if you want to copy over the old file. Start the game and the
mailbox and trashcan should be replaced. Note: This will copy
over any House on the problem lot.

No bills or newspapers:
Enable the move_objects on code and move the
mailbox to the back of the lot, then build a swimming pool around
it. The mailman will try to deliver bills, but they will disappear
without having the overdue notice appear. Also, the paperboy will
just stand in front of the ladder or diving board and not drop
a paper.

Never pay bills:
Use the following trick to pay your bills, but cost
you nothing. Tell your Sim to pay the bill as soon as he or she
walks into the same room as the bill. Pause and save the game,
then enable the move_objects on code. Delete your Sim,
then revive him while the game is still paused. Resume the game
and tell your Sim to pay the bill. The bill should be reduced
to 0 Simoleons.

Hint: Never miss work:
Enable the move_objects on code and put your
garbage can in front of the vehicle.
Enable the move_objects on code and move the car to a different
location where an inanimate object is in its way.

Avoid losing job while raising a baby:
Save the game before trying this trick. Continually
skip work, and the game will say that you are fired. Once the
baby is raised, Use the move_objects on code to delete
your Sim, When you delete your Sim, it brings their status back
to where you last saved the game. For example, if you had a top
of the line job in the Military, your Sim would go back to that
point. This will not erase your other Sims points or anything
else. Note: If you do not save the game before you delete your
Sim, it will not keep most of your promotions and skill points.

Raising babies easily:
When you have a baby, it is very long and boring process
to make them change into a child. Use the following trick and
will not have to touch your baby. Pause game play and look to
make sure that none of your Sims has a cradle icon in their list
of actions. If any do, let the game run until none of them do.
Enter buy or build mode and enable the move_objects on
code. Click on your Sims and press [Delete]. Delete every
Sim living in your house. Return to live mode and resume the game.
Do not click on any face icons, as this would bring your Sims
back. After a few Sim-hours a message will appear telling you
that you have to take care of the baby or the authorities will
be called. Click OK -- the authorities will not appear. Let the
game run for just under three Sim days, and at most 71 hours 30
minutes after your baby was born, it will become a child. The
side effects are minimal, being that the child will have only
20 relation points with his parents to start instead of 50, and
they may loose personality points if they have a sibling.

Exceed family member limit:
Use the following trick to add other members to your
family, after you already have eight members. Enable the move_objects
on code. If you have a family that consists of eight members
and you want to add another, delete six of your family members.
Those members are not gone forever. If you want another kid, keep
the parents active and try to get a baby. If you want another
pet, keep one adult active and buy a pet. You will not be able
to control what this new member does.

Larger lot:
Enable the map_edit on code. You can now use
your pointer to take over the entire lot. Then, enable the map_edit
off code and you make the land go as low as the game will
allow in the lot. Enable the move_object on code and delete
your family. You can now build your house. Note: Even if you have
kids, the bus will go right through your house.

Second story:
Instead of placing a number of pillars to make a second
story, just build a normal first floor with nothing in it, then
build a second floor and delete the walls on the first floor.

Zombie Sim:
Kill your Sim, and before the Grim Reaper takes him
or her away, get your husband or wife to plead with him. He will
say " I'm generous today, so I will spare your Sim",
then bring him or her back to life. That Sim will now be green
but will live a normal life. Note: If you do not want them to
be a zombie, enable the move_objects on code and delete
him or her. Then, click on their head and they will return without
turning green.

Glitch: Floating Sim:
Enable the move_objects on code and get your
Sim to "sleep". Just when he or she is about to get
in bed, move the bed away from him/her. The bed will have a dent
in the pillow as if the Sim were sleeping on it, however the Sim
is floating in air.

Enable the move_objects on code. Buy a ToroTec Mechanical
Bull. Let your Sim ride it. Go to build/buy mode and select your
Sim. Move your Sim somewhere on the air. Your Sim will now be
floating in mid-air.

Glitch: Sim without a last name:
After you create your Sim, type in a last name, such
as "y" or something similar. Move the pointer over the
"Okay". Press [Backspace], then quickly select
"Okay". If done correctly, you should have a Sim with
no last name.

Glitch: Teleporter on roof:
Build a one-story house. Put a teleporter in one room,
but do not build a second story with the floor or wall tools.
Save the game and go to the neighborhood screen. It appear as
if the teleporter is on top of the roof itself.

Glitch: Strange meat:
If you have a grill, command a Sim to grill. As soon
as your Sim takes out the meat, enter buy or build mode. Enable
the move_objects on code. Have your Sim work-out. In the
process, put the meat on top of your Sim. He or she will start
to work out one-handed. Then, tell your Sim to sit. When he or
she does, they should still be holding the meat.

Glitch: Wrong object name:
Enable the move_objects on code and do not clean
your bathroom. Flies will eventually appear. Pick them up and
a box with "Click here to dispose of SSRI virtual Reality
set" will appear.

Have a child in your family. Get them to use the sink and they
will get on top of a stool. Pause game play and enable the move_objects
on code. Pick up the stool, and it will read "Doll House".

Glitch: Swim in a puddle:
If you have a puddle on your lot, make one of your
Sims start swimming in the swimming pool. Then, enable the move_objects
on code. Pick up your Sim and put them in the puddle. It will
appear as if your Sim is swimming in a puddle.
