and Laguna Loire.
Hint: Detecting cloaked ships:
If the targeted enemy vessel has a cloaking device
(Klingon/Romulan/Kessok ships), quickly press [F9] + [F3]
before it cloaks. You will not be able to move your ship, but
it will give you an understanding of where the enemy is located.
Eric Freundlich.
Hint: More Quantum Torpedoes:
On the mission where you first meet the Kessok, when
they talk to the Matan and the cargo ships are there, you will
see two Galors come out of warp and scan the area. Get in the
middle of the asteroid field to avoid detection. Later, you will
be discovered and they will bring in reinforcements. Defeat the
Galors using Quantum Torpedoes and your stockpile of those torpedoes
will be replenished.
Beameup6.
On Episode 6 (Too Firm A Grasp), you will get a distress call
from the Dauntless. When you reached Serris 3, there will be a
destroyed freighter. If you are low on Quantum Torpedoes you can
scan the ship and get ten more of them.
Beameup6.
Hint: Fun with Chief Brex:
During the main game or Quick Battle mode, click on
Brex and select "Report". He will say that he has nothing
to report. Keep clicking "Report" and he will say things
such as the following:
Laguna Loire.
"I'm in a clue-free zone over here, Captain."
"Welcome to Tanacityville. Population: you."
"I really enjoy these conversations with you, Captain."
"I canna change the laws o' physics, Cap'n." (Scotty
accent)
"Dammit Jim! I'm an engineer, not a conversationalist."
Glitch: Backwards texture:
Go to quick battle and select an Ambassador class.
The registration texture (USS Zuckov) will be written backwards.
James Reed.
Glitch: Disconnected warp nacelle:
After the opening sequence, an Akira-class ship tows
the USS Dauntless into a repair facility where she will undergo
repairs. Workbees take off the two nacelles and replace them with
new ones. After they are installed, look closely at the starboard
warp nacelle (the nacelle on the right side) as Dauntless departs.
A slit is visible between the nacelle and the pylon where it is
supposed to be mounted on. It just hovers above the pylon.
Laguna Loire.
