1. If your HQ has grown in size, removing it and replacing
it will cause it to never expand anymore.
Good rating: Rename a town to Happy Town.
Eliminate CPU buses: Build a snaking railroad line over the bus route. The
train will destroy the CPU buses, but will also eliminate your
own trucks and buses.
Eliminate CPU airplanes: Build a tree covered tall hill at the end of the CPU's
runway.
Fast population: When creating a city, put down a large city, start
expanding it, take out all the small houses, and keep expanding.
When it takes a lot of clicks before it increases population (usually
around 30,000), put a small city as close as possible, even if
it touches. Then, delete the small city and the large city's population
will stay the same even though a portion of the city itself was
erased. This may be repeated until about 70,000, at which point
it will revert back to 0. Dennis Carlson.
Hint: Faster loading and unloading of trains:
If you have a long train that takes a long time at
stops, make sure you have a train orientation depot on your track.
When it stops at a station, let it unload/load at a station, then
press the button with a train on it. Then the train that is at
the stop. Press the button to turn it around if needed, then finally
press the button that takes the train to the depot twice, It will
leave the stop and go to the next one. Rada Brodowski.
Hint: Destroy opponent road vehicles: Over a road where your opponents' road vehicles travel,
build two railroad tracks that are connected on the road. On one
side, build a train depot and buy a train. Have the train stop
over the tracks so that the road vehicles stop at the flashing
lights. Then, reverse the direction of the train and let it go.
As soon as the lights stop blinking and a truck is on the tracks,
reverse direction of the train again. If done correctly, the train
will hit and blow up the vehicle. Note: Some vehicles will not
move until other hit trucks are cleared off the tracks. GarfieldFreak11.
Hint: Easy money: Start a new game on desert. Select MegaRail 1960 then
set your company up. Put your loan money up to the maximum then
go to the company list. Buy 75% of the company. When the money
of the company is in the negatives, the company will be sold off
and declared bankrupt. Keep the company called "Parker and
Co." on the screen. When the company is declared bankrupt,
sell 75% of the company. You will then be a millionaire. Your
company value will increase to about $65,666,000 and your money
will be at about $60,000,000. Remember to pay back your loans.
Johnathon Weaver.
Create a scenario with five cities; four on the corners, and one
in the middle. When creating the cities, leave enough room for
a large airport directly in the middle. When you select the scenario,
build an airport in each city and have a plane go to all of the
airports. You should be getting a lot of money at this point.
The more planes, the more money. Soccergoals4u.
Hint: Eliminate CPU trains: Build a train depot at the end of the track of a CPU's
train station. Build a train, and as the CPU's train pulls into
the train station to load/unload, release your train by hitting
start and the lights button (to ignore signals). This is an easy
and fast way to destroy all the CPU's trains. The CPU will "give-up",
then remove most tracks and stations. nfn17353.
Glitch: Flashing lights: Build two connected railroad tracks over a road. Build
a depot on the side of the track that is not on the road. Buy
a train and let it go. Get the train on the track over the road
and reverse it a few times to keep the lights on. Then, let the
train go to the end of the track. It will turn around automatically.
Send it to the depot, sell it, and destroy the depot. If done
correctly, the lights will be flashing with no train. GarfieldFreak11.
