Boss skin: Note: This procedure involves editing a game file;
create a backup copy of the file before proceeding. Use a text
editor to edit the "user.ini" file in the game directory.
Add the following lines:
[Botpack.Ladder]
HasBeatenGame=True
Relics: Press T during game play, backspace over the
default text in the chat window, then Enter one of the following
codes to unlock the corresponding relic on the mutater's menu.
Characters: Complete the indicated task to unlock the corresponding
character.
Akasha: Kill Akasha in the final mission.
Damian: Unlocked at some point during Chapter 4.
Kragoth: Unlocked at some point during Chapter 4.
Lauren: Kill Lauren at least once in a Deathmatch in Chapter 2
of Campaign mode. Lauren will become unlocked after a subsequent
Deathmatch.
Loque: Unlocked during Chapter 5 after a Capture The Flag match.
Malakai: Unlocked at some point during Chapter 4.
Matrix: Kill Matrix at least once in a Deathmatch in Chapter 3
of Campaign mode. Matrix will become unlocked during a side mission
in Chapter 3.
Scythe: Kill Scythe at least once in a Deathmatch in Chapter 4
of Campaign mode. Scythe will become unlocked after a subsequent
Deathmatch.
Hint: Phantom mode: Get killed by a rocket. Then, immediately pause the
game when the screen is about to flash white. Press ~ and
enable the "God mode" code. You will not be able to
fight, as you cannot fire or respawn. You will have restart by
escaping and starting a new game. Also, enable the "No clipping"
code to look around. nov-rain.
When you get killed, do not click to respawn. Instead, enable
the fly code. You will be able to fly around. Then, enable
the walk code. Your health will be zero, but you can walk
around. Next, enable the loaded code to get all the weapons.
If done correctly, you should now be able to walk around and shoot
the enemy, but they will not notice you or shoot back. BlitzAce86.
Hint: Explore introduction area: During the introduction, press ~ to display
the console window. Then, enable the iamtheone and fly
codes. The camera will immediately stop in its place, and you
will be able to control it. You will be able to fly around the
entire introduction "level", as if it were a real level
in the game. However, you will not have a HUD.
4I
Falcon.
Hint: More armor: This trick should be done in a level where the Shield
Belt and Body Armor are relatively close together. First, get
the Shield Belt and drain it to less than 50%. Next, get the Body
Armor, so your armor total is between 100% and 150%. Finally,
get the Shield Belt again. Your armor total will go up to 150%,
but in reality it is actually 250%. You can tell if you have done
this correctly because both the shield belt indicator and the
body armor indicator will be activated on your body icon. This
trick can also be done with thigh pads, but it is less advisable,
considering thigh pads only give 50% armor.
4I
Falcon.
Hint: Faster minigun rate of fire: Hold [Primary Fire] and as soon as the rate
of fire reaches the maximum, switch to secondary fire without
pausing. The miniguns firing rate will be a lot faster. Exlaxxboy.
Hint: Put a giant object in the background:
Go to any level with an outside area (planets, mountains,
buildings, etc. in the background). Enable the ghost code.
Hold [Jump] to fly straight up. Keep going until you can
either see a cluster of lights off by itself away from the level
(Tempest, Core Facility, etc.); or you rise out of the level's
cube (everything will be black), in which case if you keep going
long enough you will see a smaller version of the level's cube
(Morpheus, Tomb Of Sesmar, Phobos Moon, etc.). Fly towards this
cube or cluster of lights. Once you are inside, enable the walk
code. If done correctly you will now be standing on the floor
of a room which walls look like the background. Put an object
on the ground (Translocator Disk recommended), and remember where
on the picture of the background it landed. Enable the ghost
code again fly back to the arena. There will now be an enlarged
version of your object in the corresponding location on the background
where you left it previously. If you used the Translocator Disk,
you can now teleport back to the miniature world. However, make
sure that the ghost code is disabled or you will die. This
trick only works on single player mode. CCOX1.
Hint: Interesting killing methods: All of the following use the playersonly code
in order to freeze the game. Since you cannot change weapons while
the code is enabled you have to pre-select it. Most of these tricks
also have a certain amount of "backlash" so the god
code is also recommended. Some of these tricks require a lot of
ammunition, so the allammo code should also be used. Once
you are finished setting up the kill, move the console out of
the way so you can see what happens then deactivate the playersonly
code. NeoGohan10.
Sniper Rifle: Find someone to shoot, line up a head shot and fire.
The target's head will become suspended in mid-air with a cloud
of blood underneath and the body will fall to the ground. Note:
Try to avoid zooming in as the game will occasionally freeze in
the zoomed mode until you deactivate the code.
Rocket Launcher: When you use either primary or secondary fire,
the gun will automatically load up six missiles and fire them.
However, the rockets will stay where you fired them, resulting
in them staying grouped. This allows you to run up to an opponent
and surround them with groups of missiles.
Ripper: Hold [Fire] and run around randomly in an opponent's
general area until he/she/it is surrounded by as many Razors as
desired (usually about 50-60). Re-enter the code and clear the
area as the Razors ricochet about and cut your opponent to ribbons.
Ripper: As above, only more tidy and less random. Face the direction
your opponent is running. Aim the Ripper at the target's feet
and hold [Primary Fire]. Begin to move the mouse very slowly
up in a straight line, creating a "stacking" effect.
Redeemer: Enable the allammo code to get 999 missiles.
Freeze time, then enable the fly code. Start flying around
the level with [Primary Fire] held before reactivating
time stop and consider the scale of the virtual pain your about
to cause. Then start time and watch the fireworks. Note: Inspect
a missile to find something interesting written on it. If you
use this trick on a relatively large scale the game will slow
down a lot, even on the fastest computers.
