Please submit
any information regarding the unknown codes.
Location names: Use one of the following entries with the jump
code. Enter a space followed by a number after the name of a level
to advance to a specific waypoint. Example: jump AnezkaRoom
2. Note: The game will auto-save after changing to a new level.
This may also prevent the game from completing normally. William Gotelli.
Auto-save: If you cannot save at a particular location, enter
a gate to another waypoint. The game will auto-save and allow
you to load from this point if you die. Note: To enabling saving
at a particular location, update the game to v1.1. razor002.
Hint: Easy money: Whenever you gain any experience, put most of it towards
you Manipulation stat. This is allows you to buy items from the
shops at smaller prices and also allows you to sell your items
at higher prices. When your Manipulation is at about 80, you can
sell items back to the stores at the same price they are worth.
At any higher level (the highest being 100) you can buy an item
and sell it back for more than you paid for it. Keep doing this
repeatedly until you have as much money as desired. M.J. Kwiatkowski.
Hint: Easy experience: This can only be done later in the game. First, you
must become a vampire. Once done, start putting all your experience
points into your common disciplines. Only put one point into each
ability until you have gotten the discipline "Awaken".
This allows you to bring back one person (enemy or partner) back
from the dead. Note: You cannot use it on yourself. Whenever
you have killed an enemy, you can have them reborn using Awaken.
However they will only have a fraction of their health and are
easy to kill. You will gain the same amount of experience points
for everyone in your party each time you kill them. This trick
takes up a lot of your blood; make sure to stock up. Once you
learn the Tome Of Blood Magic, put all your experience into your
"Theft Of Vitae" discipline. This allows you to instantly
take a great amount of blood from the enemy. Once you kill an
enemy, Awaken them and quickly use Theft Of Vitae to refill your
blood meter. Then, kill them again for the experience. Repeat
this process to gain as much experience as desired. Note: This
will take a long time to do. It is best used on an enemy that
offers a lot of experience points. Tremere Lords (the mages in
green robes) offer 500 for each kill. Either that, or a Boss
are perfect for use. M.J. Kwiatkowski.
Hint: West Side Story
reference: The Downtown area produces errors in the console
relating to different types of NPCs on the streets, specifically
"jet" and "shark." These two types of NPCs
are thugs that will randomly attack each other. The Jets and Sharks
were two rival gangs in West Side Story. Hazama.
Hint: Hitchhiker's Guide To The Galaxy
reference: In Hollywood, go to the Ground Zero Internet cafe.
Look on the wall to the left just as you enter. There is a poster
near a door advertising a game called "Space Tennis Online",
which seems to be a spoof of a multi-player version of Pong. If
you look closely, a player on the left is "Arthur",
and one in the bottom right is "Zaphod". These are both
names of characters in Douglas Adams's book "The Hitchhiker's
Guide to the Galaxy". Another player name on the left looks
suspiciously like "TROGDOR", which is also the name
of a character of sorts in the Homestar Runner web cartoons.
