Blue Jay: Buy a kabob stand and name it.
Dolphin: In Zoo Tycoon 2: Marine Mania, Right Click
the dolphin in an exhibit. Exit that game, then name a water stand
in Zoo Tycoon 2.
Dodo Bird: In Zoo Tycoon 2: Extinct Animals, unlock the
dodo bird. Exit that game, then name a coffee stand in Zoo
Tycoon 2.
Manta Ray: Unlock the penguin, lion/lioness, moose, and the zebra,
then buy a hot dog stand and name it.
Pelican: Get a place near water, then buy a restroom and name
it.
Puma: Get every animal, then type puma.
Sea Lion: Go to Tundra, then buy a restroom and name it.
Seal: Go to Tundra, then buy a sushi stand and name it
Zebra: Name a penguin, moose, lion, and kabob stand.
Hint: Africa:
Put a fence around the entrance to the zoo so that
the entire zoo qualifies as a cage. Then, cover the whole zoo
in savana grass and add plants and lakes. Place some animals then
walk around as a zoo keeper/guest. To do this faster, do not get
staff, food/water dishes or shelters. It will look unnatural.
If you put gazelles in a pack, only put about two to six of them
or some might ditch the pack. If you encounter across a dirty
animal, wash it or all the animals will get sick and die. Note:
Plant eaters will get eaten.
Savoie.
Hint: Babies:
You do not need two animals to have a baby. Just adopt
a female animal and wait for about a month. Then, adopt a male
of the same species and place him in with the female. Do not do
anything from the time that you adopt him until the female gets
pregnant. When she does, select "Undo". That will undo
the adoption of the male and your female will still be pregnant.
Tiffany Jones.
Hint: Easy money:
When you start a game or start a scenario there will
be a lot of trees. Get rid of all of them for extra money.
Hint: Free objects:
When in any zoo mode (Campaign, Challenge, or Freeform)
most zoos should have already existing trees, and perhaps flower
beds, benches, etc. at the start. Click the desired item you want
and move it to where you want it. This saves money when you are
on a tight budget and is really easy.
Hint: Make water deeper:
Choose the "Deep Water" tool, and use it
as you normally would. Then, select the "Ditch" tool
and use in the deep water you just created.
Hint Swim:
In Zoo Guest mode, go to a lake or deep water area.
Face the water, then click to go down to go under the water.
Hint: Monkey meat:
Make a small pen. Put meat eating animals in it and
put a vulnerable herbivore in it. Eventually a carnivore will
kill it and the herbivore will become a carcass of meat.
Kittylover789986.
Hint: Cross-bred baby giraffe:
When creating a Savannah exhibit, put in one Masai
giraffe (male or female) and one reticulated giraffe (of the opposite
gender). You will get credit for two different species, and have
a baby in return. It will turn out to be Masai or reticulated.
Hint: New saber tooth cat colors:
Instead of plain brown saber coats, pause game play
put in about ten male and female saber tooth cats. Resume the
game. Some of them will have rare colors, such as white with black
stripes, black, dark brown, grey, snow white, and tan.
Hint: Hybrids:
The following combination of animals will produce hybrid
creatures.
Lion and tiger will produce a liger
Sivathrium and okapi will produce a sivathrapi.
Zebra and quagga will create a zwagga.
Any two different bear breeds will produce a bear mix.
Hint: Zebra and quagga:
If you place zebras and quaggas in the same exhibit,
they will do fine and breed together. Their offspring will either
be zebra or a quagga.
Hint: Successful freeform zoo:
Close your zoo when you first begin a new zoo so that
no guests are unhappy while you are building it. First, put in
two food stands, two drink stands, dessert stands, one restaurant,
and one zoo exhibit before opening your zoo again. Guests also
like donation boxes. Make sure three of your four walls are made
with the hill device in the "Landscaping" section. The
other wall should be made with a fence so that guests can see
the animals. Set all of your prices low, including the admission
price. Do not forget benches, restrooms, and ATMs. For entertainment,
add photo souvenir stands, arches, playgrounds (make an area out
of sand path and put your playground equipment on top), fountains
and statues. Also put in picnic tables and gift shops. With any
extra money, crate playgrounds or peacock exhibits with one male
peacock. They are more beautiful and will amuse guests. Note:
Make sure to fully close exhibits with natural walls. Sometimes
animals can squeeze out and chase guests. Double-check the exhibits
with big cats, grizzly bears, and elephants.

Hint: Animal groups:
Use the following trick to get a herd of horses, a
pack of wolves, or a pride of lions. Simply place the following
number of animals in an exhibit. If you exceed the upper limit,
some of them will leave the group. For horses or wolves, place
two to five of them. For lions, place three to five of them.
Hint: Safari:
Put a cage around the entire perimeter of the park
and place the path at the entrance. Put a path through the door
and into the cage. Put lots of animals in the cage. As long as
your path does not end, the guests will keep walking through.
Hint: Screaming globe:
Click on the globe and move the mouse left or right
very fast a few times.
Hint: Reviving animals:
If your animal is going to die, crate it.
Hint: Buildings:
Make a small area and put buildings around the edges
of it. Then put picnic tables or umbrella tables on the area,
along with garbage cans or recycling bins. For a small zoo, try
1 or 2 areas, 2 to 4 small restrooms, 6 to 12 picnic tables or
umbrella tables, and 7 to 16 recycling bins or garbage cans. Place
at least 3 to 12 trees, plants, or rocks for scenery. To save
money, use natural water instead of bowls.
Hint: Feeding :
Only place food when absolutely needed (for example,
for carnivores). Herbivores can graze, but will need an occasional
pile of branches.
Hint: Exibits:
Place a small quiet spot for your animals in the exhibits.
They will not be happy if they are being stared at from everywhere
in the exhibit by the guests.
Hint: Easy stars:
Put in lions, Thomson gazelles, and tigers. The guests
really like those animals.
Hint: Managing zookeepers:
Make an exhibit so that there is at least one corner
big enough to fit a staff center. Place the staff center in that
corner and fence it in with a strong fence. Place a gate that
leads into the rest of the exhibit. Place the zookeeper in there.
Then, set up the animal exhibit if not already done. The zookeepers
can now only go into the staff center and back into the exhibit.
You no longer have to worry about the zookeepers being in the
wrong place.
Hint: Creating deep water:
Use the cliff creator to make a cliff. Add deep water
on top of the cliff. Then in the deep water, use the ditch creator.
Glitch: Underwater objects:
Buy an object (for example, an ice cream cart). Move
the cart to a pool of water, tank, etc. Move the pointer to the
menu and click the "Pick up/Drop item" command. Exit
the window and you should have an underwater ice cream cart.
Glitch: Recycle bins:
Maintenance workers do not pick up recycle bin trash.
You must do this yourself.
