Level select:
Enter X-X!V''Q as a name.

Alternate level 5:
Defeat Death in level 5, then go to alternate level 4 and defeat Camilla.

Play as Maria Renard:
Get the prison key from a candle in the area that you are chased by a zombie bull in the normal level 2. Note: Do not take the alternate path from level 1. When at the end of the castle sewers later in the level, notice the locked door beside the stairs. If you did not exchange the key for any throwing items after picking it up, use it to open the door and rescue Maria. Complete the level and when the game is started again, the "Character Select" option will appear at the save game file menu.

Extra life:
Successfully complete the game without getting it to get a bonus life at the end of the level.

Boot up the TurboCD with the wrong system card in your TurboGrafx.
