Obtaining various magic:
Use Time Magic Refining to refine Three Stars into 100 Triple. Then, Flare, Meteor, and Meltdown can be drawn from high level Behemoth, Ruby Dragon and Gayla respectively. Just use Tonberry's Lv Up ability to draw, then use Level Down to decrease the experience gain in order to keep your levels low. Death is also one of the best magics to junction to Luck. Tornado can rise your Eva rate to 21% if you have 100.

Once the Ragnarok is obtained, fly to the island closest to heaven (resembles a lower-case r) in the northeast part of the map, then equip Diablos' "Enc-None" ability. Explore around the island's edge while tapping X (PlayStation version) to find draw points of Flare, Ultima, Aura, Holy, Full-Life, Meteor and many other powerful magic. This makes it easy to upgrade your health to 9999 with Triple and Ultima equipped. This may also be done on the island closest to hell, in the northwest part of the map.

Rare magic draw points:
Information in this section was contributed by Zampolli Sara.

There is an Ultima draw point at the bottom of the Warship island before fighting Ultima Weapon. It is on the right of the entrance, and is easily discovered with Siren's Find Draw and Save points ability.
There is a save point before fighting Ultima Weapon and on the left of the big comp. Walk near the comp then go left until you cannot go further. It is easily discovered with Siren's Find Draw and Save points ability.
There is a Life 2 draw point in the Missile's Hangar at the Galbadian missile base. Enter the room with the save point on the left and the terminal where you cheated to prevent the Galbadian missiles by hitting Balamb Garden. It is near the second silo on the left and is easily discovered with Siren's Find Draw and Save points ability.
There is an Aura draw Point in Altemicia's castle. Go to the room with the spiral staircase (enter the castle, go straight in the door up the stairs, fall down the big chandelier and then open the door on the ground; a Boss is also here). Go to the right, between the barrels. It is easily discovered with Siren's Find Draw and Save points ability.
There's an Ultima draw point in Altemicia's castle. Go to the place where you fought the Galganture (big skeleton that causes abnormal status when attacking). The draw point is on the left, near the second knight's armor.
In the Island closest to Heaven and Hell there are lots of draw points near the edges. Just follow the edge of the island and keep tapping Circle until you find one. The list of magic include: Ultima, Holy, Aura, Meteor, Flare, Tornado, and Quake.

When you walk in Shumi Village, talk to the three Shumi's. They will ask you to pay 5,000 gil to go to the draw point. Answer "Yes" to get to an Ultima draw point.

Hidden Apocalypse magic:
Before fighting Ultimecia on Disc 4, Junction the Draw and Magic commands on any of your characters. When you reach Ultimecia's final form, damage her until you see her having two targets in the window. You can draw the Apocalypse spell on the lower part of Ultimecia and either cast it on her or stock it. Cast Triple on that character and cast it three times via magic. Ultimecia also draws it from herself and casts it on you.

Saving Aura magic:
Aura is a magic which can be used up after so many changes of character (when Circle is pressed in the PlayStation version). To prevent this, do not start tapping Circle repeatedly until the two other characters who do not have aura have had their turns. Then, before their bar is back up, keep tapping Circle. This is a much more effective way to use Aura.

Have Quistis in your party. Cast Aura on her and have her using the Mighty Guard. Sometimes she will "transfer" her Aura status to your entire party. You must be lucky, but it is worth it. This will allow you to save two Auras.

Get Aura in Disc 2:
You will need to have Siren's Tool Refine, Leviathan's Supt Mag Refine, and Diablose' Mug ability. Go to the Great Plains of Galbadia and look for Weindegos. They are a funny looking green and yellow sort of monkey. Mug them to get Steel Pipes. Depending on the Weindegos, you may get two or four steel pipes from each. Be careful with these monsters -- although not that deadly, they can take a lot of your HP. After winning, use Tool Refine to refine the Steel Pipes into Aura Stones. Then use Supt Mag Refine to turn them into Aura.

No potion heal:
To save Gil and be safe during a Boss battle, get 100 Drains for a character that can junction his attack to status. Put the 100 Drains in that slot. When you attack a normal enemy with them junctioned 100, you will get the same Hp back. There is one setback to this -- do not attack undead creatures.

Changing items into magic:
Changing the Samasa's Soul item (from changing Seifer's Card) will create 60 Triple magic. Triple is one of the best magics to junction. Changing 50 Phoenix feathers with Eden's Elaborate G.F. items ability will create a Phoenix Soul. This teaches the Revive ability to one of your G.F. (Easy if you have a lot of gil.)

Making full use of the Status Junction:
Pain magic is one of the best magics for junction to Status Attack. It can take charge of most of the monsters in the Islands Closest To Heaven and Hell. For example, the T-Rex that is weak against status attack (will miss all attacks with Blind and he will be unable to cast magic) and Behemoths. For a major effect, junction 100 Pain so will not miss. This does not work against monsters like Rubulmdragons (absorbs St-Attack) and Morboros. Drain magic is the best magic to junction to Status Attack, because it will heal your character while attacking.100 Drain is a must when on the Islands Closest To Heaven and Hell. It works well against T-Rex, Molboros, and other less dangerous monsters. It does not work against Rubulmdragons (will heal him) and Melth Dragons (you will be harmed cause it is a zombie-based monster).

To get the best Elemental defense (you must have the Elem Def-Jx4 ability), junction 100 Full Life, 100 Life, 100 Ultima, and 100 Shell to your Elemental Defense. To get the best status Defense, junction 100 Pain, 100 Esuna, 100 Holy, and 100 of another status magic.

Good offensive junction:
The following junction will help against all enemies except for Bosses. Junction 100 Pain spells on your Elemental Attack. This way, you will always Blind, Poison, and Silence your enemy. This will drastically reduce their accuracy and will prevent them from using magic. This is especially helpful on the Islands Closest to Heaven and Hell. Alternatively, you can junction 100 Pain spells to Elemental Defense. This way, you cannot be Silenced, Poisoned, or Blinded. Pain spells can be found on the Island Closest to Heaven and Island Closest to Hell using Siren's "Move-Find" Ability, and Diablos's "No-Enc" ability. The Draw points regenerate extremely fast.
