Preface
There is more than one way to arrive at the ending. The one presented
here is only one of the many possibilities. Remember, examine
each and every item that is taken. At some points, the game's
progress relies on this. Each character in the party carries his
or her own inventory. Make sure all items are examined.
Union Station - Dante's Apartment Talk to Dante. Take the spare key from the computer table.
Georgetown - Captain Jersey's Kitchen Take the scrub list on the table and talk to Jersey. Go through
all the questions and listen to all the information.
Foggy Bottom - Entrance To Interface Talk to Karl (the man behind the door) and note the words
on the sign. Combine the first letter of each word to obtain the
password. When asked for the password, enter SESAME. Go through
the manhole to enter Interface.
Inside Interface: to the far right is the exit. The door to the
left leads to Mr. Beautiful's Office. Talk to the all the people
here. The bartender does not have any useful information. Talk
to Scub Stevens (the man sitting at the bar) and recruit him into
the party. Then, talk to Mindrunner (the man next to Stevens).
After that, talk to Sophia Bene (the woman sitting at the far
left) and recruit her. Now, talk to Kween Chaos (the woman sitting
on the staircase) and note what she says.
Enter Mr. Beautiful's Office and talk to Abonides (the small demon).
When asked the password, enter CONDEMNATION. A lengthy FMV section
will be displayed. Accept the job that is offered by Mr. Beautiful.
After arriving in Hell, take everything in sight. The prisoners
possess no information. Go to the next room and talk to the demon
Sanguinarius.
The Mall - Voice Of God Radio Talk to Nick Cannon. He does not have a lot of information
now. The knowledge that he has as an audio expert will help solve
one of the later puzzles .
Judiciary Square - Phreakbeats Hangout
Talk to the two people at this location.
Union Station - Oscar Drexler's Apartment
Talk to Oscar Drexler.
McPherson Square - Gang Alley
This is Gang Alley. To the left is the Clean Club House and to
the right is Deadly 7 Club House. Upon arrival, Christopher Modesta
will start a conversation. Talk to the other people here. Go inside
the Clean Club House and talk to Gracie Lovell.
Gallery Place/Chinatown - Pap Pap John's Comix Shop Talk to Anna Mae, learn about her problem, and activate the
computer. A password is needed to shut down the Locust virus.
Note the second to last letter of each word. Press A (3DO
version) to clear the screen and enter the password IMPERATOR.
Talk to Anna again and she will provide the comic.
McPherson Square - Gang Alley Enter the Clean Club House. Use the exit located in the lower
right portion of the screen to enter the Clean Meeting Room. Talk
to Temprance Lector (on the right) and Phrachie (on the left).
Accept Phrachie's offer to run a RAP.
Go back to the Clean Club House and talk to Gracie. Then, proceed
to the Deadly Club House. Talk to Electric Sex (lying on the couch)
twice. Enter the Deadly Meeting Room. Talk to Barbara Bacchus
and Languo. The exit leads to Dolph Van Ittey's room, but nothing
can be done there at this time.
McPherson Square - Cybershop Take the copper tubing on the floor and talk to Dr. Clean.
Accept her picklock implant offer.
Gallery Place/Chinatown - Aldous Xenon's Loft
Talk to Aldous Xenon and take the homing device.
The Pentagon - Pentagon Garage Office Have Sophia Bene forge a Level 4 pass. Take the Forger Skill
from Sophia's inventory, move it over the pass template, and press
B (3DO version). Talk to the guard that is near the door
and give him the security pass.
Enter the garage and take the mechanic's creeper. Examine the
lunch box lying next to the car and note the name.
Return to the office and talk to the Dispatcher. During the conversation,
tell him to page JO BOYLE. Now, return to the garage and plant
the homing device in the car.
Gallery Place/Chinatown - Aldous Xenon's Loft
Talk to Aldous Xenon.
Dupont Circle - British Embassy There are two doorways here. To the right is the control center.
The left doorway leads to Senator Burr's Office. Talk to Derek
Literati, who is reading a report by the door.
Talk to Senator Burr.
The Pentagon - Pentagon Reception Area Ask the receptionist for directions to GEN. MANGINI'S PENTAGON
OFFICE. Use the lockpick implant to unlock the large metal door,
stand on the automatic walkway, and enter the office. Note that
different parts of Pentagon are accessed in the same manner later
in the game.
Talk to Sanguinarius and accept the trip to Hell. After arriving
in Hell, use the hell blade on Krystal Getty (the hostage).
Federal Triangle - Transgressions Entrance Unlock the door with the lockpick implant and enter Jean Saint
Mouchoir's office. Take the pencil next to the computer and use
it on the notepad. Activate the computer by entering GODS JUSTICE.
Information inside the computer is locked by password. At this
point, a few of those areas cannot be accessed, but will be seen
later in the game. For the time being, the accessible areas are:

Georgetown - Psionic League Headquarters Enter the door and talk to Suzy Toast.
Watergate - Eschatology, Inc. Offices Talk to Hercule Rue Des Couers and Christy Abraxis.
Arlington - Resurrection Unlimited Talk to the technician and enter the door. Use the mechanic's
creeper to reach the other end of the corridor.
Examine the resurrection units. One of the bodies has a Latin
phase on his chest.
Federal Center SW - New Corporeal Biologics Take the electromagnet, large beaker and small beaker. Have
Scub Stevens create a still by using his Rig Skill on the copper
tubing.
Talk to Brewer for information.
Capitol South - Menial's World Headquarters Take a bottle of beer from the refrigerator. Use the Dream
Powder from Scub Stevens' inventory on the beer.
Talk to Mick for information, then return the beer to the refrigerator.
Mick will fall asleep in a few seconds. Take the collector unit.
McPherson Square - Gang Alley Enter the Deadly 7 Meeting Room and give the still to Languo.
Talk to him for more information. Return to the Deadly 7 Club
House and talk to Electric Sex. Give her the key to Dante's apartment.
Note the word she states.
Enter Dolph Van Ittey's room and activate the computer. The password
is BLOODNET. Read all his personal files. Return to the alley
and tell Christopher Modesta about Dolph Van Ittey's identity.
Talk to Chastity Bene.
Georgetown - Psionic League Headquarters Give the collector unit to Suzy Toast and she will modify
it.
Foggy Bottom - Asylum Waiting Area Talk to the two people here, then enter the next room. Use
the collector unit on either Menial member to fry both of them.
L'Enfant Plaza - Fitzgerald's Speakeasy Take a bottle of beer from the bar. Talk to Milwaukee Jack
(sitting alone at a table). Then, talk to Splits Magnola (sitting
by the bar). When asked to create a diversion, use the bottle
of beer on the TV above the bar.
Talk to Splits again to recruit him, and dismiss Scub Stevens.
Georgetown - Psionic League Headquarters Talk to Suzy Toast.
Farragut North - Dean Sterling's Office Talk to Dean Sterling.
Union Station - Asmodeus' Porn Studio
Talk to Grinda Dove (the girl sitting on the desk), Rutterkind
(the small demon) and Asmodeus. After arriving at the movie set,
talk to Asmodeus again.
After returning to reality, talk to Dean Sterling and take the
Psychopomp unit that is on the floor.
Union Station - Dante's Apartment Talk to Dante. Use the Psychopomp unit on your character and
enter the address GARAGE. Talk to Deepthroat.
L'Enfant Plaza - The Collector's Room Use the electromagnet on the parchment located at the corner
of the room.
Capitol South - Gnostic's Office
Talk to Professor Coronary. Enter the next room and talk to Daniel.
Take the note on the computer and examine it. The information
on that note is critical. Return to Professor Coronary and talk
to him again. Note the word GESTICULATE.
Dupont Circle - British Embassy Enter the control room and talk to Senator Burr and her assistant,
Katerina Goertz. Use the Psychopomp on your character and enter
the address CHARON. After arriving in Hell, talk to the ferryman.
Hell - Beautiful's Hostage Hellpit Take the steel cover and the beer mug on table. Use the mug
on the acid pool, then return it to the inventory.
Hell - The Hell Zoo Take the staff, jar of food, floating beasts, bucket of Styx
water and zoo keys. Talk to both characters. Use the jar of food
on Machalus, then use the key on the carnivore cage.
Hell - The Wall Of Flame Hellpit Talk to Prudence Alala. Put the steel cover onto the steam
vent shaft. Stand onto the cover and wait.
Hell - The Hell Ice Field Use the floating beasts on your character to reach the ice
block. Use the bucket of Styx water on the ice block.
Hell - The Hell Music Room Talk to Alice Trenton to learn the clues. Press B (3DO
version) when the cursor is over a white square to determine which
note will it emit. To free Alice, find all the silent letters
in the verse:
Murder the dumb,
Torture the meek
with the scent of death
and the gnashing of teeth
The answer is: B E C A G. Choose the corresponding white squares.
Hell - The Hell Dentist Office Talk to the demon. Use the nerve gas cartridge on the NO2
tank. Take the NO2 cartridge and dentist drill.
Hell - The Ratroom Talk to Dingo Tucker. Use the NO2 cartridge on the tubes.
Foggy Bottom - Entrance To Interface Enter Mr. Beautiful's office and talk to the gangsters. Talk
to Mr. Beautiful, but do not recruit him into the party. Take
the cue stick.
To find the hostages, solve the puzzle presented by the small
demon. First, translate the numbers into letters. Since R=23:
A=6, U=26, V=1, etc. Examine the jukebox and look for a song or
singer's name that corresponds to the encrypted word. Then, select
the code of that song. Answer: D9 E3 E8
The Mall - Voice Of God
Give Mr. Beautiful's DAT to Nick Cannon. He will play it. Note
what it said.
Union Station - Dante's Apartment Talk to Dante. Use the Psychopomp on your character and enter
the address GARAGE.
Talk to Deepthroat.
Federal Triangle - Bureau Of Records Talk to Mr. Calcutta and Ms. Stinson. Pay attention to what
Ms. Stinson said for the clue to a computer access code.
Federal Triangle - Transgressions Entrance Unlock the door with lockpick implant and enter the office.
Activate the computer. Find the topic "Government Operations/Massimo
Eddy". Enter TRIANGLE when asked for the access code.
Use Sophia Bene's Forger Skill on the credentials template to
obtain the proper credentials.
Federal Triangle - Bureau Of Records Talk to Mr. Calcutta.
Arlington - Lee Mansion Guard Room Use Splits' Psionic Skill on the guards. Enter the next room.
Use the cue stick on the lamp next to the cybernetic panther.
Enter the doorway and talk to Massimo Eddy. Examine the notes
he gives your character.
Dupont Circle - British Embassy Talk to Katerina Goertz to learn the locations of more hostages.
If she does not provide additional information, wander around
Washington and check back with her later.
Use the Psychopomp on your character and enter the address CHARON.
Hell - The Belly Of The Beast Talk to Thelma Bay Chesapeake. Take the stone and femur bone.
Use the stone on the bone.
Hell - The Abyss Talk to Jeremy Verdi and Gack. Use the mug of acid on the
hell blade. Give the mug of acid to Gack and take the bucket of
tar.
Federal Triangle - Transgressions Entrance Unlock the door with the picklock implant and enter the office.
Activate the computer and find the topic "Government Operations/Night
Of Re-Entombment". The access codes are JEREMY VERDI and
GESTICULATE. Read the memo.
Union Station - Dante's Apartment Talk to Dante. Use the Psychopomp on your character and enter
the address GARAGE.
Talk to Deepthroat.
The Pentagon - Pentagon Reception Area Talk to the receptionist and ask for directions to THOMAS
MEACULP'S OFFICE. Once inside, activate the computer. To gain
access, the answers are:
Shudder is to fear as Crying is to Sorrow
Fan is to air conditioner as Keyboard is to Decking Unit
Suicide is to death as Embezzlement is to Wealth
Charon is to perdition as Freeways is to Los Angeles
Once Thomas Meaculp's location is revealed, go back to the receptionist.
Ask for directions to the PENTAGON JAIL.
Once inside, use the EMP grenade from Cynna Stone's inventory
on the guard. Then, use her mini bombs on the cell.
Dupont Circle - British Embassy Talk to Senator Burr and Jeremy Verdi. Give the Massimo Eddy's
note with the mathematical symbols to Jeremy, then talk to him.
Talk to Katerina Goertz. She will provide the locations of the
remaining hostages. If she does not provide additional information,
wander around Washington and check back with her later.
Hell - The Hell Steel Mill Talk to Brett Carew and use the staff on the gears.
Hell - Hell's Desert Talk to Walker Dash and Atroxias. Use the dentist's drill
on the Walker Dash.
Hell - The Hell Schoolroom Talk to Randal Singh and Mr. Maledictum.
Puzzle: To solve this, establish a base letter. Any positive number
indicates counting towards Z, negative numbers indicates counting
towards A. For example, in the first question the codes are: 1
+1 +15, +9 +11 +5 +10 +1 +15, +5 +11 +19 -3. By choosing "D"
as the base that corresponds to "1", the codes translate
into: DES MOINES IOWA. The other answers are LITTLE ROCK ARKANSAS
and HELENA MONTANA
Hell - Mephisto's Throne Room Talk to Mephisto and fight him. Take his hand after he has
been defeated.
Hell - Beelzebub's Throne Room Use the bucket of tar on Beelzebub's Throne Room. Take his
wing after he has been defeated.
Hell - Belial's Throne Room Drop the explosive charge on the glowing section of floor.
Take his medal after he has been defeated.
Hell - Cerberus's Lair Go through the doorway past Cerberus. Wait for the demon to
leave and take the brush on the floor. Use it on the door to Satan's
Lair to paint the words GOD IS DEAD. Enter and kill Satan.
Go back to reality and talk to Katerina Goertz and Senator Burr
to learn about their progress. Use the Psychopomp on Rachel and
enter the address SPAWNER.
The Pentagon - Pentagon Reception Area Your character will arrive here automatically after the previous
section has been completed. Ask the receptionist for directions
to THE PNEUMATIC DELIVERY ROOM.
In the delivery room, take one of the pneumatic tubes on the floor.
Put a gas bomb inside the tube. Talk to Jute and give the her
the bomb-tube. Reply with MIRACULUM SEPULCRUM when asked for the
destination. Return to the reception area and ask the receptionist
for directions to PENTAGON CHAPEL.
In the chapel, take the taper on the floor. Light candles 6, 3,
1, 4, 7, 2, 5, 10, 8, 9 (counting from the left) with the taper.
After Solene Solux is defeated, enter the hole where Solux appeared.
Use the Hell bug disk on the Hell computer to end the game
