Meat will spoil as time passes. Do not consume any meat that changes
its appearance in the inventory.
Keep alert for any items that will help your character survive,
such as food and tools.
Check your health constantly on the computer before any potential
problems develop.
Master the skill of crawling to get out of awkward situations.
Night begins at 20:00 and ends at 00:01.
Retreating may be a better option than facing a superior enemy.
Keep track of the weight of the items that are carried. Do not
pick up every object possible. Items such as sticks should be
taken only when they are needed in order to reduce the total amount
of weight carried.
Killing the tigers require either one laser shot, two arrows,
spears, or multiple hits with the knife.
Warm clothing can be made from skins from tigers, rabbits, and
bisons.
Solution:
Tropical Forest
The game begins after your character parachutes into the jungle.
Look at the map. Note the narrow valley that seems to be surrounded
by mountains to the north-east of your character's (Trepliev)
location. Switch to normal view and move to the north-east. There
is a narrow passage not visible on the map that will allow Trepliev
to reach the narrow valley. Use the passage to reach the narrow
valley. Walk carefully and look for changes in the terrain. There
are steep drops and banks that can break Trepliev's bones.
The wreckage of Trepliev's spaceship is in the narrow valley.
Note that there are five pieces of wreckage that have protruding
red wires. Take a total of five wires from the wreckage. Take
the medical kit that is on the ground next to the wreckage.
Return through the passage to the south. Look at the map.
Move east towards the lake. Another Robinson (Socrate19) will
be encountered. He will speak to Trepliev, then move away. Quickly
punch him before he can use his knife. Take the matches, empty
gourd, computer, and battery from his body. Finally, pick up his
survival knife from the ground.
Use the survival knife to collect branches and leaves from
the trees. Create a hat by using the leaves and the needle and
thread.
Walk to the lake. Find some food in the surrounding area.
There are three cauliflowers concealed in hidden recesses near
the lake. Eating the cauliflowers will restore more water than
energy. Because they are heavy, it is best to eat them as they
are found. The weight of the items that are carried directly affects
your character's level of fatigue. Note that the pears on the
tree by the lake are not edible.
Walk next to the lake and fill the gourd with water. Select
the gourd and move it near the water and it will fill. The water
must be sterilized with a disinfectant pellet or by boiling over
a fire before drinking.
Look at the map. Return to the west end of the large valley
that crosses the map from east to west. Note the wide recess on
the southern mountain range just before the west end of the valley.
Enter the recess and take the earthworms from the pile of earth
that is next to a stand of trees.
Look at the map. A cauliflower can be found in a recess in
the northern mountain range, towards the middle of the map.
Move to the south-west corner of the large valley. Follow
the sloping passage to the south to climb upwards. Eat the cauliflower
that is on the left of the slope. Continue to follow the rising
passage as it turns to the east.
The passage will end at a plateau. Continue to move eastward
until an eagle appears. Use the survival knife to kill the eagle.
Use the survival knife to collect feathers and raw meat from the
carcass. Eating the raw meat will help restore energy.
Continue moving towards the east end of the plateau. The eagle's
nest will appear. Take the edible egg and a large group of feathers
from the nest.
Walk back down the sloping passage to return to the south-west
corner of the large valley. Walk towards the north-west corner
of the large valley. Look at the map. There is a narrow passage
between the mountains facing west at the north-west corner of
the large valley. Another Robinson (Darwin5) will be at the entrance
to the narrow passage. After talking to Trepliev, Darwin5 will
turn into a werewolf and attack. Use the survival knife to kill
him. Take the computer that is lying nearby on the ground.
Follow the narrow passage to the west. Look at the map. Note
that the passage forms a loop before turning south. There is a
tiger at the intersection that forms part of the loop. Crawl past
it and follow the loop in the passage that leads to the north.
Follow the loop in the passage as it turns to the south and
widens. Move to the south end of the widened passage. Use the
survival knife to collect some resin from the tree. Combine the
resin and a branch to create a torch.
Turn around and move north along the widened passage. Look
for an intersection along the western side of the passage. Follow
the branch that leads to the west until it ends at the entrance
to the Damp Caves.
Light the torch by selecting it from the inventory and enter
the caves. The caves are dark, cold, and contain numerous mutants.
Use the survival knife to kill the mutants with two hits. Avoid
the depressions in the caves from which Trepliev may enter but
may not climb out.
Examine the map. Move towards the large central cavern. Take
the computer that belongs to Hume60 from the western side of the
cavern.
Look at the map. Move towards the north-east corner of the
map to enter the long passage that runs from east to west. Follow
the long passage as it leads to the west and south. Stop when
the walls and floors of the passage begin to turn green. Turn
to face the wall of the passage and use the survival knife to
collect saltpeter from the green areas.
At this point, take an antibiotic tablet to prevent illness.
Since climate and environment affect Trepliev's health, the damp
cold interior of the cave may result in the flu.
Look at the map. Move towards the exit that is at the end
of the passage in the middle of the western edge of the map. Do
not use this exit unless it is day (after 00:01, but before 20:00).
The dangerous area should not be entered at night. A Tyrannosaurus
roams this region at that time and will kill anything that moves.
Numerous reptile mutants may attack in the main clearing. Check
the malaria indicator on the computer at regular intervals. Take
a quinine tablet to clear malarial infections.
Collect the liana vines from the short trees in the main clearing
with the survival knife. Build a bow by combining a branch and
a liana vine. Arrows can be created by combining branches and
feathers. A fishing rod can be created by combining a branch,
vine, and a safety pin. Trepliev can fish at any location with
water by using an earthworm with the fishing rod.
Look at the map. Four passages lead westward. Follow the northern-most
passage until it ends to find a tree with edible grapes.
Follow the second westward passage until it ends to find a
small clearing. Collect the five melons hidden among the tall
plants.
Follow the third westward passage until it ends to find a
Robinson (Epicure92). Talk to him and take the native necklace
that he offers Trepliev. Kill him and take the computer and bottle
of whiskey from the body. Move near the reed-like plants just
east of Epicure92's tree house. Take the fruit from the L'yk S'yk
D'yk plants. It acts as a type of hallucinogen.
Follow the southern-most passage. Avoid the large dark green
poisonous carnivorous plants that are along the way. Wear the
native necklace to avoid being attacked by the Friday guards.
Continue to follow the passage as it turns north and ends
to find the Friday leader. Speak with the leader to learn about
the creature that is terrorizing the Fridays.
There is a Stegosaurus near the Friday leader. Collect milk
from the Stegosaurus by using the gourd on its udders.
Carefully approach the tiger that Trepliev crawled past earlier.
Position Trepliev at a safe distance and hit the tiger with two
arrows. The tiger will start to attack after the first arrow is
shot. Shoot the second arrow quickly and accurately to kill it.
Use the survival knife to take the fur and meat from the tiger's
carcass.
Return to the large valley that crosses the map from east
to west. Look at the map. Move towards the passage between the
mountains to the north-east of the lake. Enter the valley that
lies beyond the passage and move to the north-west. Look at the
map. Move over the inverted brown crescent area on the map by
following the green path on the ground leading westward. Trepliev
may take the leaves of the majuarina plant that is growing on
the edge of the cliff.
Continue moving along the green path until another tiger is
encountered. Use the bow to kill the tiger. Use the survival knife
to collect its fur and meat. Create some cold-weather clothes
by combining the fur with the needle and thread.
Move north from the tiger's location to reach the entrance
to the Cold Caves.
Wear as many items of clothing as possible, especially furs,
before entering the caves. The caves are very cold, and Trepliev
must wear protection. Create and light a torch. Enter the caves.
Move north from the starting passage to reach a large cavern.
Pterodactyls will attack in this area. Meat may be taken from
their carcasses.
Follow the passage in the north-east to encounter another
Robinson (Diogene48). Kill him and take his computer and razor.
Return to the large cavern.
Follow the passage to the north in to leave the caves and
enter the Desert Canyon.
This is a hot area. Remove the fur clothes and wear the leaf
hat to reduce the effects of the sun. Check Trepliev's water levels
to prevent dehydration.
Look at the map. Move west across the canyons and enter the
plains in the south-west area. Large bisons inhabit this region.
A butt from a bison will cause fractures and may lead to temporary
deafness. Use the bow to kill them to obtain more meat and fur.
There is a large aggressive bison and its calf in the south-west
corner of the map. Approach the larger animal from a direction
opposite from the calf. Kill the larger animal, then kill the
calf. A skeleton of a Robinson (Pythagore32) is near this location.
Take the computer from the remains.
Look at the map. The grayish feature that runs from the center
of the map westward is a large rising plateau. Move towards the
center of the map to where the plateau begins.
A plant bearing edible marschmalho balls is near the beginning
of the plateau. Look at the map. Stay on the floor of the canyon
and move towards the plain in the north-west corner of the map.
Listen to the Robinson that is encountered in the plain. Three
pumpkins may be collected at the western edge of the plain. Return
to the beginning of the plateau in the center region of the map.
Follow the plateau as it rises to the west. There is a village
with hostile natives near the lake at the top of the plateau.
Kill the natives and take their spears. The spears are highly
lethal projectiles that can be retrieved and used again.
There is a village composed of several tall huts near the
lake. Take the large gourd that is hanging from one of the huts
and fill it at the lake. Use a disinfectant pellet on the water
to make it drinkable. Edible potatoes may be found in the field
north of the village.
Follow the narrow ledge to the south of the village. Kill
the Pterodactyl that will fly towards the end of the ledge from
the south. A Robinson (Hegel17) has been sacrificed at this location.
Take the computer from his remains.
Return to the canyon floor in the center of the map by descending
on the plateau. Look at the map. There is a curving passage that
leads south on the eastern edge of the map. Move towards this
location. Poisonous spiders may be encountered in this region.
Avoid or kill them with a single shot from the bow. If Trepliev
is bitten, immediately use the poison-aspirator or an injection
of serum on the wound. The aspirator will pump out the poison.
Another safe option is to give Trepliev a serum injection before
entering any area that is infested with spiders.
Follow the passage in the south-eastern area of the map until
it ends at the entrance to the Desert Caves.
Wear any cold-weather clothes that are available. Create and
light a torch before entering the caves. Follow the passage as
it leads to the east, and pass by the intersection to the south.
Turn to the south and enter the first cavern. Kill the dinosaur
that attacks from the right side of the cavern. Move south to
enter the next cavern. Kill the dinosaur that attacks from directly
ahead.
Look at the map. Move towards the passage that is in the south-east
area of the cavern. There is a stalactite in front of the entrance
to the passage. Follow the passage to reach a maze-like series
of passages.
Look at the map. Follow the passage that leads east to west
along the south edge of the map. The remains of a Robinson (Pascal22)
are at the end of the passage. Take the computer from the corpse.
Look at the map. Follow the series of passages to reach the
large chamber in the north-east corner of the map. A turtle next
to a small pond is located in this area. The torch will extinguish
if Trepliev steps into the pond. Take and eat the turtle. The
turtle's shell will remain in the inventory as a helmet. Collect
the salt from the walls in the chamber. Salt is useful to help
Trepliev retain water in extreme heat.
Return to the cavern from which the maze of passages was entered.
Follow the passage in the south-west area of the cavern to find
the exit to the Desert.
To survive in the desert during the day, take off Trepliev's
clothing, wear the leaf hat and eat some salt. Both gourds should
be filled with water. The darker patches of ground are quicksand
that will suffocate Trepliev if they are touched. The desert becomes
cold at night. Wear normal clothing as the temperature begins
to drop. Wear cold-weather clothes when the temperature becomes
very cold.
Move south along the passage from the caves until an intersection
appears. Follow the passage that forks to the south. Continue
along the passage until a second intersection is reached. Follow
the passage that forks to the south. Look at the map. Continue
to follow the passage to the area in the south-west corner of
the map.
The passage will end in a desert area inhabited by a crazy
Robinson (Freud37). Speak to the Robinson, then kill him with
a spear. Take his distress gun, flares, and computer.
Return to the second intersection and follow the passage to
the north. Look at the map. Move towards the large open area along
the north edge of the map towards the west. Kill the large reptiles
that inhabit this region. Take the skin from the creatures and
create waterproof reptile jacket and trousers. Move towards the
north-west corner of the large open area to find the remains of
a Robinson (Descartes122). Take the computer from the skeleton.
Return to the Swamps by traveling through Desert
Caves, Desert Canyon, Cold Caves, Tropical
Forest, and Damp Caves.
The Tyrannosaurus in the marsh must now be killed. Wait until
night (20:00) and fire a flare from the "Use" menu (not
the "Weapons" menu) when it appears. The Tyrannosaurus
will no longer move after it is blinded by the bright light. Kill
it with the spears and survival knife. Due to the amount of time
needed to kill the Tyrannosaurus, more than one flare may need
to be fired. If the flare dies, the Tyrannosaurus will begin to
attack when it gets dark.
Return to the Friday village and speak to their leader. Trepliev
will receive a halogen lamp as a gift.
Return to the Tropical Forest through the Damp Caves.
Change into cold-weather clothing and light a torch before
entering the caves. Move towards the large cavern in the center
of the caves.
A large cave grub is in this area. Use the multiple spears
to kill it. Look at the map. Move towards the passage that leads
to the west at the south side of the cavern.
Follow the passage westward until it ends at another cavern.
Kill the smaller cave grubs in this area. Take the computer belonging
to Spinoza44 in the south part of the cavern. Return towards the
east to the central cavern.
Follow the passage leading to the east to reach the Temperate
Forest.
Change into normal clothing. Look at the map and note the
position of another Robinson (Pavlov95) in this area. Run towards
him and quickly kill him with a spear. He is armed with a laser
and will shoot at Trepliev. Take the laser pistol that is lying
on the ground. Take the laser charger, computer and kevlar gloves
from his body.
Look at the map. Move to the small clearing to the north-west.
(Do not enter the passage to the north that leads to the lake.)
There is a corpse (Schopenhauer26) in this area. Take the computer
from the remains.
Look at the map. Move to the east and enter the small enclosed
clearing that is south of the lake. There are two rabbit-deer
in this area. Build a noose by combining a wire and a branch.
Place the noose near the creatures and return later to collect
the them. They also may be hunted with a projectile weapon or
the survival knife. Take the fur and meat from the carcasses.
Leave the clearing and follow the passage to the west, towards
the south-east portion of the map. There is an apple tree with
edible fruit in a clearing just to the south of the yellow area
on the map.
Move towards the nearby passage the curves to the north, then
east. Kill the Centaurs that are in this area. Walk to the cliff
at the end of the passage to kill all the Centaurs.
Return to the large clearing where Pavlov95 was killed. Move
through the northern passage towards the lake. There are four
tigers wandering in this area. Use a single shot from the distress
gun to kill them one at a time. Take their meat and fur. Create
warm clothes from the fur. At this point, Trepliev should have
the following fur clothes: cap, gloves, boots, and trousers.
Continue moving to the north-east to reach the lake. Follow
the bank eastward along the north edge of the lake. Board the
raft that is next to the bank in this area. Sail the raft westward
along the lake.
Look at the map. Land the raft along the peninsula that juts
into the eastern part of the lake. Use the survival knife to collect
some artichokes from the bank. Follow the bank until it reaches
the rising plateau in the north-east corner of the map. Climb
up the plateau to reach a large clearing that contains more Centaurs.
Kill all the Centaurs. Take a hatchet from one of the bodies.
It is a very effective weapon. Take the computer that once belonged
to Kant217 from the body of the Centaur leader.
Return to the raft and move towards the eastern edge of the
lake. The entrance to the Wet Caves is in this area.
Put on warm clothes and light a torch before entering the
cave. Follow the river and follow the left fork at the first intersection
to reach the cavern in the north-west corner of the map. Leave
the raft and move to the end of the cavern. Use the survival knife
to collect sulfur from the walls. Return to the raft and return
to the intersection.
Follow the other fork to reach the large water-filled cavern
on the map. The raft will reach the edge of a waterfall. Wear
the reptile skin trousers and jacket before going over the waterfall.
Land the raft at the passage to the north.
Change into fur clothes again and wear the tortoise shell
helmet. Kill the giants in this area.
Enter the maze of passages in this area. Take the computer
in the cavern that has two exits along the north edge of the map.
Use the survival knife to collect coal from the black walls of
the long cavern in the eastern portion of the maze. Follow the
passages to reach the south-east corner of the maze to reach a
cliff overlooking more water. Use the hatchet to kill the Pterodactyl
that will attack Trepliev from the air.
Turn on the halogen lamp, change into the reptile skin clothing,
and drop down to the narrow bank next to the water. Use the hatchet
to kill a second Pterodactyl that will appear. Quickly swim north
to reach the entrance to another passage. Kill the third Pterodactyl
that was flying after Trepliev.
Follow the passage until it ends at a large cavern. Move along
the passage on the north side of the cavern to return to the Desert
Canyon
Turn off the halogen lamp and eat some salt. Take off the
reptile skin clothing and helmet. Wear the leaf hat and warm-weather
clothes. Follow the passage in the south-eastern area of the map
until it ends at the entrance to the Desert Caves.
Change into cold weather clothes and turn on the halogen lamp
before entering the caves. Turn right at the first intersection
to find a computer in the middle of some skeletons. Take the computer
and return to the Desert Canyon.
At this point seventeen Sesame computers, including the one
in use, should be in the inventory. Go to the Robinson that is
near the cabin in this area. Shoot him with the laser before fires.
Take his gas mask, refills and computer. Note that the gas mask
can only be found after seventeen computers are in the inventory.
Return to the Desert.
Move west to the location of the mad Robinson. To the north
there is a large area inhabited by a sleeping Triceratops. Create
a Molotov Cocktail by combining the empty whisky bottle, coal,
sulfur and saltpeter. Use a vine or bandage to create a wick.
Wake the Triceratops by shooting from a distance with the laser.
Then, throw the Molotov Cocktail to kill it.
Go to the wreckage in the hidden recess in the north end of
the clearing. Take the battery from the wreck.
Move directly to the east. Follow the long passage cautiously
to avoid the traps and quicksand. Robot prison guards will appear.
Destroy them with the laser.
To regain water or energy, eat the single stalk of the Macreloptia
Rhacodes. This is the only edible mushroom in the desert. It is
located in a dead-end in the north-east and is guarded by a robot
guard.
The passage will lead Trepliev far to the southeast. A giant
robot is in this area. Wear the kevlar gloves and build a booby
trap by combining the battery and a wire. Move forward to attract
the giant robot, then place the battery in front of Trepliev.
Move back and the robot will electrocute itself on the battery.
Continue moving towards the north and avoid the lava. The
entrance to the Gas Caves is in the north.
Wear the gas mask and turn on the halogen lamp before entering
the caves. Memorize the route taken in order to exit from this
area later. Turn left and kill the robot at the first intersection.
Take the computer from the body and the heavy laser on the ground
behind the robot. The heavy laser has an infinite number of shots.
Return to the intersection and continue moving along the passage.
Trepliev will arrive at an enormous cave inhabited by numerous
robot guards. Destroy them one at a time with the laser. Stay
away from the lava on the ground and walls.
Move into the maze of passages to the north. Take Nina's computer
from beneath a hole in this area. Sleep in the cave to receive
a telepathic message from Nina. She has managed to throw her computer
into a volcano.
Go to the computer cave. Destroy the Clambots from a safe
distance. Insert all the computers, including Trepliev's, into
the aperture of the main computer (with the small red light).
Once all the computers are inserted, the android base will begin
to self destruct.
Trepliev must escape within a limited amount of time. Without
a computer, the map, control panel, and scanner will no longer
be accessible. The double doors of the exit are situated in the
maze that was previously visible in the middle of the map. Use
the heavy laser to destroy the small robots that will appear.
If all the computers have been inserted into the main computer,
the door will open. Trepliev will join Nina and leave the planet.
The ending sequence of the game will begin.
