Zelda 2: The Adventure Of Link
Hint: Extra lives:
After you have leveled up magic, attack, and life as
much as possible, you will earn an additional life for each time
you level up.

Hint: Easy points:
Go to the fist palace. Go two screens right of the
screen with the candle. You will see skull heads that fly around.
They take twenty to thirty slashes to kill and will give you 50
points per head. Keep destroying them to get your points up fast.

When you are near the end of the game, go north of the sixth palace
to the jungle forest. Get hit by the little blob. Fight the dinosaur-like
enemy with the spear. Destroy him to get 200 points. He is easy
to defeat. Go through this process until you have all the points
desired.

Hint: The Final Guardian:
Go to the left side of the screen and rapidly tap B
when fighting your shadow character.
Hint: Save magic refill time:
While in a town and speaking to the old lady that gives
you magic, cast a spell when the magic meter is going up. The
magic meter will go down and then continue to go up, no matter
how many spells you cast, until filled. Warning: This will not
work with any other color jar.

Hint: Open doors without keys:
In Quest II, or when you learn the fairy spell, cast
the fairy spell when a locked door is encountered to pass through
it.
Information in this section was contributed by Kyle Haight.
If you have a shortage on keys in a palace and have enough magic
to spare, just use Fairy and you can just fly through a locked
door.

Hint: Town Bats:
Go into Water Town and talk to someone a couple of
times. He or she will turn into a Bat.
Information in this section was contributed by Matrixman1091.
Hint: Avoiding battles:
When on the map screen, stick to the main path. Most
enemies who try to engage in battle will fail and just turn up
as an empty side-scrolling stage.

Hint: Hidden town:
Go to where the sixth palace is located. Then, go northeast
until you see a cave. Go through the cave until you get to the
other side. At first you will see woods. Use the hammer to destroy
the woods squares. One of the squares will have a hidden town.

Hint: Defeating Knights:
When fighting a Red or Blue Knight, instead of trying
to get past his shield, jump up and slash your sword. The sword
should still be in front of you when you are descending from the
air, causing the sword to hit the knight's head.

Hint: Getting the mirror and Life Spell:
The mirror is in the house that has nothing but a table.
Slash the middle of the table with your sword and you will get
the mirror. Hand the mirror to the woman that says ''I lost my
mirror". Now that she has the mirror, she will let you inside
her house. Go down to her basement meet her father to get the
Life Spell.

Glitch: Play as dark blue Link:
To play as a dark blue Link, you must have at least
have one magic spell in your list of spells. Then, go to a town
with an old woman that restores your magic fully. There is usually
one in every town. They have white hair and a bright pink glow.
Once you are near one of these old women, walk back slightly to
get a running start. Run towards the old woman, and once you are
at a jumping distance from her, jump. Once in mid-air, press Start
and select one of your spells (Life works very well). Use it before
hitting the floor. Once you hit the ground, make sure you fall
directly in front of her then press B to talk to the old
woman. Press B again quickly and walk into her house. When
you fall, make sure you are as close to the door of her house
as possible and are still executing the spell you chose. After
exiting her house, Link should appear dark blue. Note: This glitch
only works in towns. Once leaving or entering a house, or going
to another part of town, the effect will disappear and Link will
turn back to his normal color.
