Hidden characters:
Use the following trick to unlock six hidden characters and Father Strength in Challenge mode. You must highlight a certain character and quickly tap C(3). You can choose which second in the countdown to press C(3). The character unlocked depends on which second is displayed on the timer.

Judgment: 20 seconds on timer.

Sun: 19 seconds on timer.

Star: 17 seconds on timer.

Devil: 15 seconds on timer.

Death: 13 seconds on timer.

Justice: 11 seconds on timer.

Strength: 8 seconds on timer.

Chariot: 7 seconds on timer.

Lovers: 6 seconds on timer.

Hierophant: 5 seconds on timer.

Emperor: 4 seconds on timer.

Empress: 3 seconds on timer.

High Priestess: 2 seconds on timer.

Magician: 1 seconds on timer.

Fool: 0 seconds on timer.

If done correctly, the hidden characters will appear. The characters unlocked this way are Moon, Hanged Man, Hermit, Temperance, Tower, and Fortune. You will also gain ten seconds to the countdown timer, which can increase to a maximum of twenty seconds.

Play as Father Strength:
Highlight Strength at the character selection screen, then hold C and press A or B. Note: Two different costumes are available, depending on which button was pressed.
