Play as Appli:
Complete the game under the easy difficulty level. Then, choose the new "Player" selection that appears on the option screen to play as Appli.

Merge magic:
Hold Up + Start + A before entering level 1 to use all three magic types simultaneously. Press A for Fire, B for Ice and C for Wind.

Training mode:
Hold X + Y + Z then press and hold A + B + C at the title screen. Keep all six buttons held to unlock an extra selection on the options screen and a training mode selection at the title screen.

Disable opening,ending, and intermission sequences:
Complete the game under the normal difficulty level. Then, choose the new "Visual" selection that appears on the option screen.

Configure controls:
Complete the game under the hard difficulty level. Then, choose the new "Pad-XYZ" selection that appears on the option screen. Note: Set the XYZ controls to "Command", then press L or R to fire command shots. Pressing L fires a small bomb.
