Workbench 1.x hidden messages:
Note: Workbench 1.2 is required to view the key sequences, however they are in both the 1.2 and 1.3 Kickstart ROMs. This trick requires two persons. Reboot the Amiga and load Workbench. Have a friend hold [Left Shift] + [Right Shift] + [Left Alt] + [Right Alt]. While those keys are held, press the following keys to display the corresponding message.

Additionally, insert and eject a disk from DF0: while holding the keys for the message "The Amiga, Born a Champion" in Workbench v1.2. Note: This message is different in earlier versions of Workbench v1.2.

While holding the keys, click the Left Mouse Button on the "Screen To Back" gadget on a window, then re-insert the disk in DF0:. The message "We made Amiga, They fucked it up" will appear for Workbench v1.2 and "Still a Champion" will appear for Workbench v1.3.

Workbench 2.x hidden messages:
First, click on the Workbench window with the Left Mouse Button to make it active. Hold [Ctrl] + [Left Shift] + [Right Shift] + [Left Alt] + [Right Alt] and use the mouse to select any Workbench menu item. Then, release the keys and select the "Last message" option from the Workbench menu to display a hidden message. A new message will appear for each menu item that was selected.

Workbench 3.x hidden messages:
Boot the Amiga. Note: If there are over sixteen Workbench tools (such as AppIcons) running, shut some of them down to a number below sixteen. Hold the Right Mouse Button + [Ctrl] + [Left Shift] + [Right Shift] + [Left Alt] + [Right Alt] and select "About" from the Workbench menu. Move, but do not close, the About window, then click on the Workbench window again. Hold the Right Mouse Button + [Ctrl] + [Left Shift] + [Right Shift] + [Left Alt] + [Right Alt] and repeat those steps. Within fifteen repetitions, a new About window will appear.
