Cheat mode: Move to the right in the first level until reaching
three mushrooms in a row, which should be the first mushrooms
that appear. Collect the first mushroom, jump over the second
mushroom, and collect the third one. Continue moving to the right
until reaching a section with two special weapon power-ups that
are next to two mushrooms under a cloud. This is located immediately
before the first bridge. Stand in front of the first power-up
and press Down to take it. Jump over the other power-up
and the first mushroom. Collect the second mushroom. Play past
the bridge until reaching the next tree in the background. Stand
in front of the tree, then press Fire + Up on the
Joystick. The screen will flash yellow to confirm correct
code entry. Press one of the following keys to activate the corresponding
cheat function. Note: If a life is lost before the cheat is activated,
press [Enter] to quit the game and restart. Cheat mode
also allows all mushrooms and power-ups to be collected between
sections.
