Hint: Refueling:
Follow the blinking arrows in the top left corner of the screen until you reach the center of the "universe". While there, press [Space] continuously until you are teleported to the "space tunnel". Keep moving forward through the tunnel, shooting everything, until the tunnel changes to concentric rings. Center the cross in the center ring and you will automatically be refueled.
