Enhanced airbike bombing:
Highlight an airbike at the selection screen and press B for extra bomber power.

Enhanced airbike sidecar:
Highlight an airbike at the selection screen and press C for extra sidecar firepower.

Enhanced airbike speed:
Highlight an airbike at the selection screen and press Start for faster speed.

Stage edit:
Insert your coin(s) and press Start. Press A + B when selecting either the "Normal Course" or "Advanced Course" option. A stage edit screen should appear. Note: The arcade operator can disable this feature through the DIP switches.

Character select:
Insert your coin(s) then press Up(2), Down(2), Left, Right, Left, Right, A, B at the title screen. Select the "Custom Team Selection" option at the team/character menu.

Identical character:
Insert your coin(s) then press Up(2), Down(2), Left, Right, Left, Right, B, A at the title screen. Select the "Identical Character" option at the team/character menu.

Level select:
Insert your coin(s) then press Up, Down, Up, Down, Left, Right, Left, Right, A, B at the title screen. Select the "Special Courses" option at the game selection menu. Press Left or Right to view the levels and Bosses that can be selected. After choosing, you will play that level under the normal setting followed by the advanced setting before the game ends.

V-formation:
Press Right, Down, Down/Right + A during game play.

Back formation:
Press Up, Down, Up + A during game play.

Front formation:
Press Down, Up, Down + A during game play.

Control formation:
Press Left, Down, Down/Left + A during game play.

Round formation:
Press Left, Down/Left, Down, Down/Right, Right + A during game play.

Score mode:
Press Right, Up, Up/Right + A during game play. Alternately, hold C and press Up during game play.

Special Sound mode:
Press Left, Up, Up/Left + A during game play.

Alternate enemy shot colors:
Hold C and press Left, Down, or Right during game play.

Change enemy shot speed:
Hold C and press A or B during game play to speed up or slow down enemy shots.

Hint: Garegga homing formation:
Bypass five Small Bomb power-ups during game play. Collect the next Option power-up.

Hint: Garegga Search formation:
Bypass five Options power-ups during game play. Collect the next Option power-up.

Hint: Garegga Shadow formation:
Bypass five Ratio Medallion power-ups during game play. Collect the next Option power-up.

Hint: Garegga Wide formation:
Bypass five Small Shot power-ups during game play. Collect the next Option power-up.

Hint: Garegga Rolling formation:
Bypass five Main Shot power-ups during game play. Collect the next Option power-up.
