Reverse stage: Jump and swing on the top ledge in round 1 to find
a glowing circle. Hit the circle until a key appears.
Go in the door to a secret room. Note: Kill the mushrooms that
are in your way but do not complete the stage. Once in the secret
room, go to the top left corner to find another key. Enter the
next door then break the jars to enter the following password:
Heart, Spade, Diamond, Club, Diamond,
Heart, Spade, Club. You will advance to stage
51, the first "reverse" stage.
Secret rooms: You can find the following secret rooms by swinging
at certain locations to find a glowing circle with a key. Defeat
all the enemies in the secret room to spawn a chest. Hit the
chest and get the crystal ball. Collect all four crystal balls
after completing the final secret room to reveal the password
to access the reverse stages. Note: You will also skip some stages
after completing a secret room. The rooms are located as follows.
Stage 1: Go to the middle of the top ledge, then jump and swing
at the air.
Stage 12: Swing slightly over the upper right platform.
Stage 23: On the highest platform.
Stage 32: Hammer at the middle left part of the face.
Stage 43: On the bottom right corner of the floor.
