Hint: Better turning:
Use the following trick to avoid jerky driving. When steering your car, keep crossing your hands over each other when going into a sharp turn, and use your Brake when you feel it is needed. Make sure to know when to downshift and when to upshift during a race. The best view to use is the in-car view instead of an external car view.

Use the following trick to turn at very high speeds. To do this you have to be at least on fifth or sixth gear, depending on which car you are using. For example, with an 86 Trueno (option a) on tracks such as Akina or Akagi, do the following. Before a corner, shift down to fourth gear and hold the brakes. This will slow you down only about 10 km/h. This works well on the first right hairpin on Akina and is best on Akagi. Note: Do not use this technique when in fourth gear because you will end up at about 80 km/h.
