Alternate car color:
Hold Brake at the car selection screen, then use the Shift to select a new color.

Original Outrun 2 tracks:
Press View Change at the mode selection screen.

Change music volume:
Hold Brake at the song selection screen.

Additional songs:
Press View Change at the song selection screen.

Skip countdown in networked game:
Insert the coin(s) and press Start on a machine networked to others. If a countdown appears waiting for other players to join appears, hold View Change + Brake to immediately skip to "0".

Force single player mode:
Hold View Change + Brake while inserting your coin(s) in a networked machine.

Quit game:
Slow down in single player mode until your car is traveling less than 10km/h. Then, hold Brake + View Change and Downshift. Select "Yes" to quit the game.

No CPU cars:
Hold View Change and Shift up and down at the car selection screen, song selection screen, or network countdown screen in versus mode. The "Real Players Only" option will remove all CPU controlled racers. Note: All other participants in the networked game must do the same.

No lead handicap:
Hold Brake and Shift up and down at the car selection screen, song selection screen, or network countdown screen in versus mode. The "No Handicap" option will removes the handicap given to the lead car. Note: All other participants in the networked game must do the same.
