1. Hold Select to control the sprites as the
game is unpaused. The Joystick controls sprite placement,
A cycles to the next animation, B cycles to the
previous animation, C chooses the next character, and D
chooses the previous character.
2. Activate the code before the character selection screen appears
to unlock the Orochi characters.
3. Hold Select and press the Joystick to adjust
the various options, such as walking speed, jump speed, dash speed,
and damage. Do not select the load or save data options as this
will corrupt your memory card.
4. Pause the game with controller one and press Select
on controller two to step frame-by-frame.
5. Start the game with just player one. Set the switch after the
match begins to control the CPU character. Player one will no
longer be controllable, but may block, dodge, and roll through
fireballs. Disable the switch to make player one CPU controlled.
Note: If Orochi was the CPU controlled as player two, he may be
human controlled. Refer to the "Play as Orochi notes"
for more information.
Play as Orochi notes: Activate switch 2-1 with Orochi as the CPU controlled
player two to place him under human control. He may only be used
against the team that was used to reach him, and not the entire
character roster. The ending sequence will still proceed, even
if he is used to win the game.
