Sound test: Press Down + B + Start at the
title screen.
Hint: Get to Ice World early: Go to the beginning of the game, where the free Inn,
vampire battle, and Sleep magic were located. From outside, go
one or two screens to the right. Use the sickle to chop the bushes
at the top. Go to the next screen using the path where the bushes
were located to enter the Ice World. If this did not happen, go
back a screen to reach the Ice World. Note: Do not save the game
after doing this unless you have Chocobot and he followed you
through the "portal". Additionally, only one of the
screens will "work"; the other will make it impossible
to go anywhere.

Hint: Easy experience: Note: This trick is easier with either a battle ax
or the chain. Go to the airship at the beginning of the game that
is refueling at the lake. After you board the ship, you will find
a cabin to enter. When you get through the ship, you will exit
at a different cabin on the other side. When you exit, you will
see three barrels to the left blocking the way. Go up and around
the cabin and you will get on the other side of the barrels. There
should be four orange "wolves" lined up and a ladder
going down. Defeat the wolves and go down the ladder, just until
the screen goes down. Stay on the ladder until your Will Bar is
full. This is where the battle ax or chain is required, because
they are longer distance weapons. When the Will Bar is full, you
can throw the ax or whip the chain far. Go up the ladder so the
screen goes up. The wolves will be back. Throw the ax or whip
the chain up through them to defeat all of them at the same time.
By doing this, you will get a lot of experience points for each
set of four that you defeat. Do this repeatedly to level up as
much desired.
