Dr. Mario: Horizontal screen mode:
Complete Virus level 20 in single player mode.

Dr. Mario: Vertical screen mode:
Complete the level 20 in Classic mode.

Puzzle League: Horizontal screen mode:
Get at least 10,000 points in Endless mode.

Puzzle League: Vertical mode:
Complete all 30 levels in Line mode. You will see the ending credits and unlock Vertical mode at the main screen.
