and if you are looking for the Dragon Balls the radar at the top
left corner will be blurry. If not, you were lucky.
Information in this section was contributed by gamedog.
Hint: Easy experience:
To make characters level up faster, equip them with
weights. The more weights the charcater wears and the heavier
it is, the more experience the character will gain.
Information in this section was contributed by Andre Savoy.
This is an easier and faster way to train Goku, Vegeta, Trunks,
and Goten. Make sure one of those characters has the lightest
weighted clothing on to gain experience faster. Then, fuse to
either Gotenks or Gogeta. Make sure your base character is the
one with the weighted clothes on. You can now level up two characters
at the same time at a faster and safer rate, as Gotenks and Gogeta
are extremely powerful and can kill quickly and withstand a lot.
When time runs out, just fuse again and repeat. You now have a
total of three characters to level up: Gohan, Gotenks, and Gogeta.
Information in this section was contributed by Jack of Trades.
Go to a flight pad and fly around outside. After awhile you should
encounter a submarine (look on the bottom of the screen, in the
water) or an airplane (look towards the air). Run into it and
you get on top of the plane, with either enemies (easy to defeat)
or Zenie and items.
Information in this section was contributed by Robert.
Go to the pyramid and fight the mummies in their coffins in the
third and fourth rooms. They are very weak and you will get a
good amount of experience from them.
Information in this section was contributed by Brandon Smith.
Hint: Easy health:
If you are at a very low level, go to West City and
keep talking to Mrs. Briefs (Bulma's mom). She is just outside
of Capsule Corp. and is doing laundry. If you keep talking to
her she will keep giving you cookies. Note: Cookies only restore
5 HP.
Information in this section was contributed by darrentheskinny.
Hint: Air Hercule Shoes:
If you need the Air Hercule Shoes and are having trouble
getting them, you have two options. The first is to use Holy Water
and run around in the nick of time. The second option is to let
Goku go to SS3.
Information in this section was contributed by Lilheatplaya.
Hint: Holy Water:
To get Holy Water, give Korin three Red Snappers.
Information in this section was contributed by super saiyan 34.
Hint: Defeating Buu:
In the first fight against Buu, Keep running until
Babidi comes down. When he arrives, attack him. He will be "confused".
Now, attack Buu. Keep doing this until Buu is defeated. It is
recommended to be over level 80 to make this easier.
Information in this section was contributed by Keitarô Urashima.
Hint: Defeating Nappa:
When you get low on health while fighting Nappa, run
to the top right corner of the screen. Get the herbs and use them.
When you get low on health again, go to the bottom right corner.
Get the herbs and use them. If you get low on health, again go
to the bottom left corner. There should be herbs there. If not,
use the blinding blast that the old man gave you when you made
peace in the forest. Use all of your energy on the one blast.
It should blind him for about fifteen seconds. Keep punching Nappa
and he should die. After you defeat Nappa, save the game because
you must fight Vegeta.
Information in this section was contributed by Lewis Olekalns and Burter Olekalns.
Hint: Defeating vampires:
Before the vampire sees you, let your energy recharge
half way. Use Goku and transport on him, then use Kamehameha until
your energy bar runs out. Hit him once and run away about eight
times. If done correctly this will kill him and give you one level
up.
Information in this section was contributed by D S.
Hint: Barren Wasteland door:
At door level 75 with Goku on Barren Wastland, use
Goten or Trunks and do the fusion move as close as you can near
the door. You can then get out.
Information in this section was contributed by midevil1992.
Hint: Skip part of game:
During the World Tournament, when Gohan asks you to
get a Sensu Bean for Videl, instead of going to Kami's Lookout,
go to the southwest forest and just continue the story.
Information in this section was contributed by Carson Tatum.
Hint: Automatic fusion:
To do an automatic fusion, after the screen states
to press the indicated buttons to do a fusion, instead press Up,
B, Left, Down, A. This will always
make the fusion a success.
Information in this section was contributed by Biskit.
Hint: Big Bang explosion:
To use this move, charge a Big Bang, then fire it.
Switch to Energy Blast, then fire it. The attack will explode,
causing it to do more damage.
Information in this section was contributed by J dragon.
Hint: Make two items when you only have
one:
When you are fused with Gotenks/Gogeta, you can take
items and put them on other characters without taking it off Gotenks/Gogeta.
Fuse, then get another character Next, get the item you put on
Gotenks/Gogeta and put that on the character you are playing.
It will not take it off Gotenks/Gogeta. It is like getting two
items for one. Note: When you unfuse, the items that you were
using will be taken off that character.
Information in this section was contributed by JAYPinotti.
Hint: Recommended equipment:
The best equipment to have are Kei Kiek Armorm Prototype
Gloves (get them fixed by Dr. Brief), Spirit Geta, and Ox King's
Hat. This will make you stronger than anything else.
Information in this section was contributed by JAYPinotti.
Hint: Super Saiyan 3 lasts longer for Gotenks:
Keep turning Super Saiyan 3, as you will get to use
the energy from it.
Information in this section was contributed by Joe Adame.
When the fusion expires, make sure Gotenks is a Super Saiyan,
then fuse with Trunks and Goten Super Saiyan.
Information in this section was contributed by mike_virginia.
Hint: Infinite Super Saiyan energy for
Gotenks:
First, fuse Goten and trunks together to make Gotenks.
Then, turn Super Saiyan at about ten to fifteen seconds remaining
in the fusion. Next, at about three seconds before the fusion
wears off, turn Super Saiyan 3. Finally, when the fusion wears
off and you fuse Goten and Trunks as Super Saiyans, you will have
infinite SS.
Information in this section was contributed by MaStEr RyU199.
Hint: Extended Super Sayian time:
When you are Super Sayian and are running low on Super
Sayian energy, use anything that powers up energy instead of recharging
your energy. It will restore some of your Super Sayian energy.
This will work well if you used the glitch to get 255 Senzu Beans.
Note: This also works with Super Sayian 3.
Information in this section was contributed by Ian Elstub.
Hint: Invincible Majin Vegeta:
The following trick will make Majin Vegeta invincible
to all attacks, but it wastes all your energy for your special
attacks. Use your energy block (R + B) and when
the Super Sayin bar hits empty, you will not change back, but
you will keep your shield up thanks to the leftover energy that
you use when you are normal. However, none of it is used up. Note:
You can also use it on the first times you use Super Sayin Gotenks
and the first time you use Super Sayin 3 Goku.
Information in this section was contributed by Jack of Trades.
Hint: Normal Majin Vegeta:
When in the chapter and at the world map, have Vegeta
go to a place with a fishing spot. When there, make him jump in
and fish. Vegeta will turn normal and jump in. He is now back
to normal. Note: You cannot change back to Super, and this does
not have an effect over your battle with Majin Buu, except that
you are normal.
Information in this section was contributed by Jack of Trades.
Note: When you use this trick, you can fight Buu. When you go
to talk, it will be Majin Vegita, Super Saiyan.
Information in this section was contributed by Jesse Gray.
Hint: Gotenks and Vegito:
Collect all the Hercule Exhibits and the Z Fighter
Exhibits and return them to their homes. When playing as Vegita
or Goku, put the fusion icon on the screen and do the Fusion Ha
dance. Do the same with Goten or Trunks.
Information in this section was contributed by Lewis Olekalns, Burter Olekalns and Zainy Olekalns.
Hint: Eternal Dragon rating:
After completing game and getting Gogeta, get everyone
to level 200. The best place to do this is at is the mountain
behind Natady village. Use Killaton boots and armbands against
the blue destroyer with the sword. Go into Bulma's back yard.
Your rating will be "Eternal Dragon", the best in the
game.
Information in this section was contributed by Jesse Gray.
Glitch: Policeman walks through you:
Go to West City and stand in front of the policeman.
When he moves, he will walk through you.
Information in this section was contributed by nathan barnwell.
Glitch: Disappearing Spirit Bomb:
When you are fighting Kid Buu and see Goku holding
the Spirit Bomb above his head while playing as Vegita, and after
Goku says he needs more time, pause game play. Resume the game
to find Goku standing in the same place as before with his arms
up, but the Spirit Bomb will be gone.
Information in this section was contributed by Charlie Dore.
Glitch: Gogeta's halo:
At the end of the game, after killing Kid Buu you have
the opportunity to search for all the missing Z-Fighter and Hercule
Exhibits. If you collect all of them and return them to their
respective places, you will unlock the Gogeta Fusion for Goku
and Vegeta. When you fuse into Gogeta you will see that he has
a halo, even though at this part of the game both Goku and Vegeta
are alive with no halo.
Information in this section was contributed by MentallyPhysco86.
Glitch: Teleport with Gogeta:
After you get Gogeta, turn into him by doing the fusion
dance with Goku and Vegeta. Turn into someone else and go to a
place where you can teleport. Use it and Goku will fly next to
you. However, when you get to your target Gogeta will be next
to you, and not Goku.
Information in this section was contributed by Gemini52793.
Glitch: Super Saiyan energy as Gohan when
you are not Super Saiyan:
Become Super Saijan when talking to Bulma about the
Saijan costume. When you take the costume off for the first time,
you will have Super Saijan energy when you are not acutaully Super
Saijan. Note: When you turn Super Saijan again and turn back it
will go away.
Information in this section was contributed by blanche.
Glitch: Ghost SSJ3 Goku:
Find Vegeta in HFIL. Then, turn SSJ3 and change characters
to Vegeta so that Goku stays SSJ3. Train up Vegeta so that he
is level 100, then break through the barrier to Janemba. Before
you walk up to him, there is a save circle. Go there and switch
to Goku. Walk up and bash Janemba, then continue as normal. However,
when you do the fusion to turn into Gogeta, Goku will perform
the fusion but an image of SSJ3 Goku is left behind.
Information in this section was contributed by Madness Killa.
Glitch: Two Trunks:
In the Hyperbolic Time Chamber, before you fight Super
Buu switch to Trunks and turn Super Saiyan. Then, go to a save
point. Save the game then switch to Goten. Next, talk to Trunks
and say "No" to the sparring. After the scene with Piccolo
and the others, you will have to fuse at that time. Goten will
get ready and the Super Saiyan Trunks will fly down. However,
the other Trunks you were just talking to will still be there.
Once you start fighting Buu, if you try to talk to Trunks the
game will freeze.
Information in this section was contributed by foustjakef.
Glitch: Changing to Super Saiyan:
After killing Kid Buu, switch to Vegita and make him
a Super Saiyan. Then, switch to Gohan and go to the Capsule Corp.
Go to the atrium so the final sequence starts. When you are in
the atrium, Vegita will be normal. Then at the tournament sequence,
he will be Super Saiyan.
Information in this section was contributed by dalawren.
Glitch: Remain Super Sayian 3:
After completing the game, get all characters to level
200 (including Gotenks). Go to Barren Wasteland with Goku and
turn Super Sayian 3. You will need to have a Lazurus Crystal to
do this. While you are Super Sayian 3, get killed. When you return
to life, the energy bar will still show that you are Super Sayian
3. You may also have the strength of a Super Sayain 3 Goku. This
will last forever if you save once while the glitch is in effect.
Glitch: Saiyan power:
If you are Super Sayian and die and the Lazarus Crystal
brings you back to life, you will not be Super Sayian but the
energy bar will show that you are. This also works with Super
Sayian 3.
Information in this section was contributed by Ian Elstub.
Glitch: Fly with a Super Saiyan:
Go to Dende's Lookout (Kami's Lookout), and go to the
room were Goten and Trunks take a nap. Go Super Saiyan and fly
out the window. You should still be a Super Saiyan when you fly
out. The game will glitch and you will be invisible when you turn.
This also works for SS3.
Information in this section was contributed by Yameuh17.
Glitch: Heal Goten, Trunks, Goku, or Vegeta:
When running low on energy or health, do the Fusion
Dance to completely heal yourself.
Information in this section was contributed by SSGotenks.
Glitch: 255 Senzu Beans:
After the Martial Arts Tournament, when you need to
get a Senzu Bean for Videl, go to Yajirobi and get one Senzu Bean
from him. Use it, then go back to Videl with no Senzu Beans. They
will act as if you have the Senzu Bean for her and she gets better.
Afterwards, look at your inventory. You will have 225 Senzu Beans.
Information in this section was contributed by NIKOBOGA.
Glitch: Normal Super Saiyan Majin Vegeta:
On the way to Bobidie's spaceship, when you pause game
play Vegeta has the Majin sign on his head. However when you scan
yourself, the sign is gone and it just reads "Vegeta".
Information in this section was contributed by travis gray.
Glitch: Vegeta talks to himself:
Before you confront Kid Buu, go somewhere with a save
point and switch your character to Vegeta. When you confront Kid
Buu with Vegeta, he should begin to say Goku and his own lines,
telling himself that they should grab the boys and go. Vegeta
will say good idea, making it seem that he is only talking to
himself.
Information in this section was contributed by Bill Page.
Glitch: Wrong name:
When you fight Kid Buu and ,ist hold him for one minute
again, Goku will throw the Spirit Bomb. Goku will say he that
does not have enough power. Vegeta tells Dende about the two more
wishes. Vegeta says, "Quick. Tell Parunga to give Goku full
power" instead of "Quick. Tell Parunga to give Kakarot
full power".
Information in this section was contributed by Mike McGinley.
Glitch: Wrong Vegeta and Goku pictures:
Before you fight Buu (when you turn Vegito), turn into
Super Saiyan 3 with Goku, then switch to Vegita. Turn Super Saiyan
with Vegeta. Switch back and go through the level 140 Goku barrier
and fight Cell. Before you do, you will talk to a Super Saiyan
Vegeta, but when he talks his picture will be normal. After Buu
absorbs Vegito, you will separate and it will show Goku and Vegeta.
When Goku talks, he will be a Super Saiyan but his picture will
be normal.
Information in this section was contributed by Mtinkergirl.
Glitch: Wrong hair for Vegeta:
When you find Bibidi's spaceship and the scene starts,
when Vegeta is talking he will have the Super Sayian hair on the
message screen. However on the map he will have normal hair.
Information in this section was contributed by Ian Elstub.
Glitch: Wrong hair for Vegita:
When you play as Majin Vegita you are in a state with
blond hair, supposedly Super Saiyan. When you go into the world
map, Vegita will still be Super Saiyan. If you go to Master Roshi's
island or anywhere else with a fishing spot, you can get out of
the Super Saiyan form by fishing. When you fight Buu, Vegita will
talk and will show himself with the blond hair when he really
has black hair again.
Information in this section was contributed by paul.
Glitch: Fat man vs. old man:
Go on a save circle and fuse into Gotenks, but do it
wrong so you are either old or fat. Save the game. Restart the
game and play multiplayer with a friend and select the old or
fat Gotenks. Note: The old or fat Gotenks will not be able to
actually do anything.
Information in this section was contributed by Carson Tatum.
Glitch: Level up another character on a
save point:
In an area that has enemies, take a character that
is about to level up and place him on a save point. Then, wait
or attract a monster to the save point and kill him. The save
dialogue box will appear. Choose "Switch Characters"
and choose the person that will level up. The previous character
will not level up, and only the one you selected will.
Information in this section was contributed by alligatoreyes62.
Glitch: Freeze game:
As soon as you land in any area where you can use Ki,
do a fusion without leaving the flight platform. Do it wrong and
become fat. You should be on the flight platform and be unable
to move. Try to fly to the world map and the game will either
freeze or you will be invisible while flying, and unable to move
when you land until the fusion wears off.
Information in this section was contributed by Vegetothe1st.
Glitch: Misspelling:
Go to Musuka Circus in Hercule City. The sign will
say "Musaka" Circus instead of "Musuka" Circus.
Information in this section was contributed by wbankh1.
Hint: Wrong dialogue:
When Babidi finds out Trunks lives at Capsule Corp.
and Trunks goes to get the dragon radar, your new goal will be
to stall Majin Buu. Turn Super Saiyan and fly over to Majin Buu.
Goku will have a quick conversation, then turn Ascended Saiyan.
However because you are already Super Saiyan, he will be Super
Saiyan 3 instead but he will still say "I guess Ascended
Saiyan isnt strong enough".
