Successfully complete Power Tour mode under the normal difficulty setting. The Technical difficulty setting will now be unlocked in Power Tour mode.

Hint: Easy service ace:
Stay at the far corner of wherever you are. Before pressing A or B, keep holding to the side to cause the ball to move sideways. Your opponent will not realize it.

Hint: Hidden 1-Up Mushrooms:
1-Up Mushrooms allow one of your characters to gain 1 major and 1 minor stat without growing to the next level. The first one can be immediately found when you begin the junior class singles/doubles. In the junior courts, go all the way to the right until you hit the gates. Below you will see a shower, tress, and a basket of tennis balls. Go to the basket and press A. You will find the first 1-Up Mushroom. Try using it on the CPU player, because you cannot control him or her.

Another 1-Up Mushroom is found at the training courts where the "Practice Pond" is located. You must first become a senior in doubles and have a power shot. Go to the sign in the middle of the pond and you will go into a hidden practice swing mini-game. Swing the racket by pressing A + B. You must swing a total of 100 swings within ten seconds. The practice fairy will appear give you a 1-Up Mushroom as a reward for practicing so much. Use this on your character so both players will have an equal amount of stats.

Get to the Varsity class in Doubles and Singles, then go back to the Senior class. Go left, then go to the area with the soda machine. If the lights on the soda machine are blinking, inspect it with A. You should get a 1-Up Mushroom.

Ace Server: This is one of the most difficult things you can do to the CPU. This can affect you as well. You must serve in the opposite direction. The opponent may know where it is, but thinks that it will not get the ball.

Smash Win: When you or a CPU use A and B quickly, you will see a star on your's or the CPU's court and smash the ball before it lands on the ground. If the opponent misses the ball you will get a smash win.

Return Winners: When you or CPU makes a serve, when you or CPU controls it hit it again. If the opponent misses you will get a return win. If you miss the opponent gets one.

Power Shot Wins: This can work for defensives. When your power meter is full, use A and make sure the CPU misses to get a power shot win. In defense, you must do it closer when the ball lifts in the air (only when the CPU has used it). Note: You must stay close on the middle of the court.
