reach a point where you need a number to open the security door.
The password is "11922911".
Information in this section was contributed by zeek asakura.
Hint: Defeating Blizzard Man: With Snowball 1, he will roll out a pair of snowballs
at you. With Snowball 2, Blizzard Man himself will become a snowball
and roll at you. He will strike the back row and cause a pair
of snow drifts to build up on two random panels on your side.
With those are there, you will lose access to the panels. They
will, however, eventually melt. With Frost Breath, He will jump
to the front column on his side and try breathing ice on you.
You have two columns and he has four. If you do not kill him within
one phase, he will heal and drop a pair of snowballs on you, doing
40 damage per Navi. Blizzy does not really do much, so attack
as desired. After the fight is over, Blizzard Man blows up and
the whole area is cleared of Dark Panels. The first Liberate Mission
has been a success. You will get a Blizzard Man B chip from Proto
Man when you defeat Blizzard Man.
Information in this section was contributed by Richard Sucher.
To defeat Blizzard Man in one turn, use the Dark Lance Chaos Unison.
It will do 800 damage each time because he is weak against Wood.
Information in this section was contributed by Emmanuel Prado.
Hint: Defeating Cloud Man: To defeat Cloud Man in one turn, use the Chaos Unison
Dark Lance. Use the charge up attack (Darklance) to defeat him
in one turn. It does 800 damage because he is weak against Wood.
Information in this section was contributed by Emmanuel Prado.
Hint: Defeating the Nebula Gray: Before you fight Nebula Gray, the last Boss, enter
your Navi Customizer. There, you need the "Air Shoes"
program. Rotate it until you can also fit in "the BusterPack"
program nicely. After doing that, you will see three empty spaces.
Put two "Speed+1" in those spaces, then run it. Quit
the customizer and go to the Boss. Then, use your Double Soul
(either Napalmman Soul or Tomahawkman Soul). Do not press the
button for the custom screen in battle. Just dodge all the Boss's
attacks and hurt him as much as possible.
Information in this section was contributed by Ng Yau Song.
Note: When you destroy Nebula Gray, go to the Nebula BBS and jack
in. Then, go to Undernet Two where you can see a yellow program.
He will open the door to Nebula. When you go in you will have
to do a liberation mission.
Information in this section was contributed by Nathan Chan.
Get the program AirShoes behind the Nebula ID door in End Area
4. Put in some chips that shoot straight (for example, Elecreel,
Boomer, etc.). When he does his head-launching move and cracks
the panels, quickly break them all so that the dark tube that
comes out of the ground object cannot hurt you. Hit him with the
chip and Napalman unite.
Information in this section was contributed by Danny B..
Hint: Defeating Bosses: To easily defeat any Boss, you will need a Django,
DjangoSP, or DjangoDS Mega Chip. When you face one, use the chip
on the Boss. It will do lots of damage (depending on the amount
of sunlight) and will continue lowering the Boss' HP, even after
you use the chip. You can also use it on Nebula Grey, but it does
not have the same effect. However, it still does a lot of damage
depending on the amount of sunlight. To get the chip to work correctly,
you must be in the same panel line as the Boss. For example, if
he is in the middle line, you must be in the middle line. There
also should not be any obstacles.
Information in this section was contributed by rtv.
Hint: Fight the final Bosses: After the ninth liberation (with Blizard Man and Cosmo
Man) are the final Bosses. They are Dark Team Colonel. To get
to them you must defeat their Omega Navis in the net and get a
rank through 10-S. After you defeat all of them, it opens a door
to Nebula Grey, but it now has 2500 HP. Jack out and do it again.
The bad thing is you must fight all of the Colonel again. If you
defeat Nebula Grey in under 2:00:01 to 3:00:00 you will fight
Bass. Then, jack out and go back. You must still fight the Navis
again. If you defeat Nebula Grey in under 2:00:01, you will fight
Dark Mega Man. Then, jack out. Repeat the process and fight Nebula
Grey with 3,000 HP, then 3,500 HP, and finally with 4,000 HP.
If you defeat him, there will be a secret story.
Information in this section was contributed by Rustychaklford48.
Hint: Fight against Dark Mega Man: To fight against Dark Megaman you must defeat all your
DS Soul Navis under two minutes. If not, you will keep fighting
Forte or NebulaGrey depending on the time it takes for you to
defeat all your DS Soul Navis in Nebula 6. Dark Megaman is under
two minutes; Forte is two to three minutes; and NebulaGrey (which
is enhanced) if higher than three minutes.
Information in this section was contributed by YanJia Liang.
Hint: Fight against Forte: In order to fight Forte you must defeat NebulaGrey,
but known as ChaosLord there. After you defeat ChaosLord in Nebula
6 you must jack out and jack in again then go back to Nebula 6.
Fight your Dark Navi Souls again, but this time you must defeat
all of your Navis combined in under three minutes, otherwise you
will keep facing ChaosLord. The bad part is you will not know
how long it is taking you to defeat your DS Navis because the
elapsed time does not appear.
Information in this section was contributed by YanJia Liang.
Hint: Magnet Man goes crazy: To do this, you must have the Team Protoman
version of the game and access to Nebula Area 6. Fight Magnetman
DS and use Magnet Soul. When the battle starts, let him come back
to the middle row and reel him in with the charge shot magnet.
When he is paralyzed, press Left + B to stun him
with magnetism. If you stay in front of him, hey may use his Magnet
Energy Ball on you more than once very fast. Note: This may not
work due to the DS level of the Navi. Hey may choose not to do
the above, but almost always does. [Screenshot]
Information in this section was contributed by Manuel Miramontes.
Hint: Liberation mission: When you make it to a Mystery Marked Square, save the
game then liberate it. If you receive something useless, turn
off the Game Boy Advance and do it again until you find a good
bonus.
Information in this section was contributed by Zman.
Hint: Extra liberations: When you are in the Nebula area there are three more
liberations. The first one is Shade Man. Then next one is Cloud
Man. The last one is Blizard Man and Cosmo Man. They are very
difficult, but can be defeated.
Information in this section was contributed by Rustychaklford48.
Hint: Using a DS navi chip without tainting
Mega Man's body: The trick works in any Nebula Area of the Undernet.
If you are in any liberation mission in the Nebula Area, equip
any DS chips in your folder. However, Mega Man cannot use the
DS chips; only his team members can. The trick works in the Nebula
Area because it is filled with darkness and evil. This activates
the DS chips functions, when using a different member of the team
besides Mega Man. Because he cannot use DS chips, you can see
the attack damage of the DS, but it is weaker than an SP since
you must be completely tainted for the DS chip to be stronger
than an SP chip. The chips are activated by a team member, and
you can see a tainted DS version of the Navi attacking any enemy
you encountered.
Information in this section was contributed by Rio ascani.
Hint: DethPhoenix D: DethPhoenix D is a GigaChip bought at Higsby's in Team
Protoman for 25000Z. You must put a MegFoldr+1 (+2 is better)
in your NaviCust to make this as strong as it can. Put five to
seven NaviMegaChips in your folder. Whenever you get a NaviChip
in the Custom Screen, use it. When you have used them all, use
the DethPhoenix. For example, with DjangoSP, Gyroman, Magnetman,
Protoman, and NapalmMan get your enemy into the front row (MagnetSoul
could help), then get next to them. Then, activate DethPhoenix.
This will do 150x (x being the number of hits DethPhoenix gets),
+150 for DjangoSP, +240 for Gyroman (hold R or L),
+180 for Magnetman (the point of being in front), +130 for Protoman,
and +120 for NapalmMan for a total of 150x + 820. If DethPhoenix
hits two times, this results in 300+820 for 1120 total. Try using
this on Nebula Grey.
Information in this section was contributed by WebMaster CJ.
Hint: Protoman B or Colonel C: In Undernet 3 near the Program dealer, go up to the
square above and walk around toward the top of the single area.
You will encounter Protoman B or Colonel C. If you win you will
receive the mega chip Protoman B or Colonel C.
Information in this section was contributed by BrJM247.
Hint: Roll DS: After you complete the game, go back to Nebula's base.
Go to the first level, and next to the door you have to go in
is a chalkboard. Jack into it and go through the teleport there.
Go a short distance down and next to the bridge there will be
a Navi selling something that you might think is a Darkchip. It
is really Roll DS.
Information in this section was contributed by chris.
Hint: ShadeMan SP: recommended combo: The best combo that usually works on ShadeMan SP are
as follows. The steps must be performed in the correct order.
First, Chaos Unison with ProtoMan. Have a Thunder * as a selected
chip. These can be bought at Higsby's bargain bin. Next, have
Neo-Variable Sword. If you encounter ShadeMan, always have a Lock
Enemy, Chaos Unison with ProtoMan. Then, choose use the selected
Thunder* chip. If you are lucky, you will have the Neo-Variable
Sword in the selection screen. Choose it and power it up with
Chaos Proto's double power affect. Enter the code for Double-
Life Sword and use Thunder* to shock him. Use Dark Sword to finish
him off. This can only work for Team Protoman.
Information in this section was contributed by mario158_92.
Hint: Second version of chips for S-library:
To get the second version of chips for the S-library
(for example: Firehit2), you must have 100 Sfrags (100 standard
library chips). Go to Undernet2 (by going through Undernet3).
Open the portal. Then viruses will have the second version of
themselves.
Information in this section was contributed by r0dgers.
Hint: Third version of chips for the S-Library:
To get the third version of chips for the S-Library
(for example: Firehit3), you must have 140 Sfrags (140 standard
library chips). Go to Undernet 2 (by going through Undernet 3)
and go through the portal. To go through, you must have 100 Sfrags.
You will end up in NebulaArea 1. You will have to complete a liberation
mission against Shademan. He will be harder than the first time
you went up against him. After that, keep going until you get
to NebulaArea 3. There will be a yellow program by a portal. Talk
to him. He will tell you that you need 140 Sfrags to open it.
Once you open it, there will be version 3 viruses and you can
now get their chips.
Information in this section was contributed by r0dgers.
Hint: Secret area: After you defeat Nebula Grey for the first time, go
to Undernet Area 3. Then, go to the farthest left area and go
through the passage. It will lead you back to Undernet Area 2
but into a different place. At the end of the path is a Golden
Navi. It says that you need 100 regular chips (not mega or giga)
for it to open a portal to the Nebula area. Also, stronger viruses
are released into the net.
Information in this section was contributed by Rustychaklford48.
Hint: Security code to open the "Engine
Room":
"Double 1" is 11. "Nine too" is
92. "Tonight" is 29. "Eleven" is 11. This
equals the code 11922911. It is a palindrome.
Information in this section was contributed by Zman.
Hint: Better timing and accuracy: Pausing the game helps control the timing and the accuracy
of some chips. While pausing the game, hold A then resume
the game. The chip will be used automatically and will work exactly
where and when you want it to. This trick can also be used to
dodge most attacks by timing.
Information in this section was contributed by Manuel Miramontes.
Hint: Finding the data Dad wanted to show
you: Get Grandpa's letter at Scilab which reads "Don't
go neglecting Gow! You shouldn't get his fur wet. He's grouchy
wet, so if rainy be a nice kid and let him in". It then shows
these lines. Some of the lines are highlighted. When you place
the letters with the highlighted lines, the hidden message in
that letter is "Dog house out back". Go to ACDC town
then go in Lan's house. Examine the window that shows a doghouse
to the left of the cabinet. Examine the window There will be a
message there stating " Gow is... ... cleans the air at the
island coal mine..." Go to Oran Isle and go through the cave.
Go to OldMine 5 area where the big machine is found. Jack in and
go to the top left corner. Examine the square and you will get
the text data.
Information in this section was contributed by Forte20xx.
The data that Dad was trying to show Lan and his friends (the
letter) has two other pieces. One is found by looking at the patio
door inside Lan's house. The other is in the air filtering system.
Go straight after jacking into the filter and go to the right
until reaching the last panel. Press A to find the final
piece of the puzzle (the text data).
Information in this section was contributed by Michael Kline.
For the first area (Doghouse), when you go inside your house,
go past the kitchen. Turn left-up towards the window and press
A on the doghouse. For the second area (Oran Area in the
Air Purifier), jack in and go to the far upper right hand corner.
Press A. For the third area (ACDC area 2), when you see
the Navi and he asks if you are looking for something, go to the
far right of the 9 by 9 square and press A. After that
introduction and other missions, the area that Grandpa wanted
to show you is in Sci Lab Net Area 4 (Liberated Area). Go up very
far until you see a big square, then go to the far end of that
square. There will be a reaction showing you to another Vision
Burst.
To find the data that Grandpa has, go to Drill Comp 4, where you
will see a control box.
Information in this section was contributed by Nathan Chan.
Hint: Finding Gow when you are in second
Vision Burst: Inside, you must to talk to everyone until you see
Gow. You will fight a Heal Navi. Gow runs away and he will be
at the bamboo trees. He then gets captured by Blizzard Man.
Information in this section was contributed by Nathan Chan.
Hint: Finding Toad Man when he gets to
Undernet: He will be at the end of Undernet 2 or 3. You will
then go into a liberation mission.
Information in this section was contributed by Nathan Chan.
Hint: Getting more Battle Chips: When you enter End Area 1, have an Unlocker with you.
Then, go to the first ramp and go down . Make a sharp U-turn and
go all the way to the passage. At the end, there is a locked purple
item. Use Unlock and you will get a Navi Cus program "Collect".
Program it into Megaman to get more Battle Chips from your enemies.
Hint: Recommended Combo Folder: Have the following Combo folder.
1 AirHoc Q
1 AirHoc R
1 AirHoc S
3 AqWhirl2 O
3 SideBbl1 S
3 Boomer *
1 RockCube *
1 Recov200 I
2 Recov300 Y

1 BblWrap Y or SeaSeed *
1 AntiDmg * (Preset)
1 Atk +10 * or SloGauge *
1 GunDelS3 O
1 DarkLance W
1 DarkDrill D
1 DarkWide T or DarkInvis *
Preferable Souls: All
Possible: Colonel
Chaos: Tomahawk, Knight, Toad
This folder just has one PA, which could be very helpful in very
tight spots. Also, you can master any soul with this folder; either
practice or already a master of souls. However all of these chips
must be timed perfectly so all will connect with any enemy. This
folder has barely any Defense chips besides the BblWrap. You must
be very agile and quick to dodge all attacks. Its advantages are
that you can use all souls, all does lots of damage, and the use
of high recovery chips. Its disadvantages are if you use a soul
be careful of weaknesses, most of these chips are slow to activate
and must be timed correctly, and you will have barely any defense
chips. This is a rare all-soul-providing folder. The problem is
that most of these chips cause flinching, making it difficult
for Netbattles. The SloGauge can help during Double Souls, especially
with ToadSoul. Combine the water-based chips with ToadSoul and
SeaSeed to do incredible double-damage. However you can use any
soul that fits your need.
